They have the best puffy tacos in town. The staff is always very attentive. The portions are good. You may not be able to eat all of it. We usually have leftovers.

Family owned community spot.This place has been here for years and they have many regulars. They specialize in puffy tacos in my opinion. My fiancé has been coming here since he was a little kid. It's nice to see a place stick around for so long. Our server had so much energy it rubbed off on me.He was very attentive .

Service is always great!It had been so long I went for a little of everything .. Numero Uno. Two chicken enchiladas with chili sauce. Two crispy beef tacos. Rice. Beans. Add tortilla soup and a margarita.Loved it all today except the Tortilla Soup. Someone must have tripped caused the salt was over the top in the soup today. Parking is always a challenge if the church has an event, too.

Nice little quaint spot. Restaurant was pretty slow so we sat ourselves as instructed. We were brought some complimentary chips & salsa and our drink order was taken right away. Took a bit longer than expected for the food to come out considering things were slow. It is stated in the menu that the food is fresh, but I assure you; the tortillas are pre-packaged store bought tortillas. Most of the food was bland and that steak fajita skillet had about 3 onions, 1 bell pepper, and maybe 7-8 pieces of fajita meat. Sadly this placed missed the mark for me. Staff seemed nice. Maybe it'll be better for you.

Our "go to" for specific menu items. My wife gets the Chalupa Compuestas and I roll with the Guacamole Nachos. We both like their Tortilla Soup also.Chalupa Compuestas 9/10 - beef or chicken and guacamole atop two crisp tostadas, loaded with beans, melted cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. My wife gets the chicken and subs the lettuce for alfalfa sprouts. She loves the flavor and they are also generous in portion.Guacamole Nachos 8/10 - cheese, beans, guacamole, jalepenos and onions. Constructed on tostada chips, the ingredients are large and tasty.Tortilla Soup 8/10 - their own recipe made with both serrano and ancho chiles in a spicy chicken broth. Served over crispy tortilla strips, cheese and guacamole. Not a chicken meat based but broth. Not your usual CTS, but very good.Service 8/10 - servers are always attentive and friendly.Atmosphere 8/10 - it's a quaint cafe.Overall 9/10 - honestly, it's not the best in town, but they are consistently very good. Following my doctor's appointment, I decided to make a pit stop at the lively Fiesta Patio Cafe in Universal City. The menu was brimming with tempting options, but I settled on the Burrito dinner- a mouthwatering assortment of a burrito, beef enchiladas, rice, and beans. Each dish arrived piping hot and bursting with flavor, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quick service. Needless to say, I will definitely be returning for more delicious meals in the future.

La Fiesta Patio Cafe in Universal City is top-notch in every way. We eat here very often. Their cooking style is geared toward healthy offerings. This doesn't detract from the flavor of all their selections. I've eaten Tortilla Soup in more places than I count and the soup here is by far the best. They also offer a Taco Salad the size of your head.

Still putting out great food. They've changed their menu a bit. And walled over a couple of the glass walls in the big dining room. Looks nice inside.

I had the pleasure of trying this place out. I ordered the lunch special 1-8 that came with 2 puffy tacos, 2 enchilada and 2 sides. To begin with the this was a bigger plate than I initially thought. The puffy tacos were very good and filling and my favorite part of the meal. The enchiladas were ok but not my personal favorite only because of my personal preferences of flavor and spices. All food seem to be made fresh. The staff was friendly, quick and very helpful. The pricez were more than reasonable for the amount of food you get. I enjoyed my lunch and recommend if you are looking for authentic Tex-Mex food.

Great service! Fantastic food! Reasonable prices! Lunch menu is just the right size to get full with free chips and salsa! They even have a frequent visitor card for a free meal. I go there monthly!
