La Carniceria Meat Market San Antonio

Looking for some different cuts of meat I came across La Carniceria Meat market. After some research, I noticed they are one of the few places that offers picanha (a cut of the top sirlion widely used in Brazilian steak houses). I love this cut of meat when I go a Brazilian steak house and so I buy some so I can make at home. They also offer Wagyu cuts along with ribeye's, tri-tip and short ribs. There is also a selection of pork, chicken and seafood for all palettes. The staff was really nice, friendly and answered all my questions on how to best prepare the picanha. Overall, the meat was of high quality and came out perfect. I look forward to coming back when I'm having another craving for BBQ.

Stopped in here for the first time. Complete BBQ store, complete with meat, rub, sauces, guacamole, beans, and even charcoal!We tried some of the marinated chicken thighs which were good. Also add the beef "flap" that they also marinated for us. Thin and delicous!Even picked up some tortillas and Oaxaca cheese for quesadillas! Nice place!

FINALLY!!! A Cali based meat market, with quality meat and RANCHERA PREPARADA! I've been to a few of their meat markets back home in Cali! Price is worth it! Quality is 100% So glad they made to the San Antonio area. No other markets here in TX even compare. Store is super clean, just as their other locations. Brenda helped me and we chatted , she's awesome! And the butcher was awesome too, he even gave us complementary chorizo. Definitely going back , this will be my stop for all my carne asada needs!

We finally stopped in to check out this meat market. It was not at all what we expected! It was upscale & meticulous!The staff was so friendly & knowledgeable. The meat looks fresh and high quality. We purchase Al Pastor, Carne Asada, corn tortillas & queso fresco. We can't wait to try!! Very nice addition to our area.

If you need the utmost superb cut of meat there is no finer market than La Carniceria meat market, they have three choices of prime, along with wagyu and actual Kobe beef. Super informative and well versed in the wide selection of marvelous presentations of meats

I freaking LOVE this place. The prices are amazing. The staff is amazing. The store is clean, pretty and well kept. I am so glad I found this place. I've been doing my meat shopping here for fajita and chicken almost exclusively. I've been getting the chicken breast for $1.99 a pound!! How?! Anyway, amazing place.

Steak I chose was a T bone... Hands down one of the most delicious steaks I've ever grilled.The price was fair and the service was awesome!
