Food was all right flavors were good. Just did not like the cheese. It was American. Ambience is pretty good your typical Taqueria vibe. I took takeout so didn't experience Service.

Something about this place's appetizer crunchy tortillas makes it stand out among all the ones I've tasted thus far. The dip was regular but the tortillas had an amazing flavor.I ordered Huevos Rancheros as I'm on a streak to taste as many unique Huevis Rancheros from different Mexican restaurants. What I had was just ordinary and nothing outstanding. I'll probably have it some place else. But I'll come back here to try out lunch and dinner.Corn tortillas were served fresh and hot.The place is casual with just ordinary ambience with music. It's not huge but presentable and hospitable. Place was packed for brunch. Place was clean.

Awesome place off the south reach of the Riverwalk. You have to get up near the CPS station near I-90. I had a cabrito, chicharron and machacodo tacos for a fat breakfast. Piping hot. So good!

Totally cool and authentic Mexican food. Chilaquiles and Chicharrones are nowhere to be found in LA, but made to perfection here. We tried the green sauce and found it to be just right. Most importantly, there was no cilantro anywhere, which is perfect because the wife is allergic to that stuff. Well done, folks!!!

Nice little spot just south of downtown. Great food. Great friendly service. Food came out piping hot and great tasting. Homemade tortillas were really soft and good.

San Antonio has a treasure just south of the King Willam District. La Barca recreates handmade tasty treats from my childhood. As a chef, I've had the pleasure of crafting all types of cuisine but my heat always returns to time tested venues like this one. I only have one photo to share as I was more interested in getting down than taking photos. I'll try and slow down next time I'm in town. The icing on the trip was that a female patron paid for our party of three without us knowing. I have to leave town tomorrow but I'll leave a bit of my heart here in San Anto. #Besos

We were near San Juan mission, and wee looking for something authentic. One of the locals recommended la Barca. It was a great choice. Their puffy tacos are great!
