Great food with great service! The chef offered me samples of each special he had for the day, and they were all delicious! I thought it was great value for a meal with a savory entree, rice, and 2 lumpia rolls included. I got one of the specials, pork rib Kaldereta. It was a yummy and comforting Filipino stew with tender ribs and vegetables. You can't go wrong with any of his specials, and I definitely want to come back to try more!

Very limited selection, but I didn't need anything other than this! They gave a generous free sample to seal the deal! Fast and friendly service, large portions of fresh, tasty food. Plus, food trucks are just fun especially when they come to you! There's a phone number to call. 210-517-8281... I'd like to explore their full menu. If I had Chicken and vegetarian options today, they would have earned a five star rating.

Great tasting food, very accommodating, lots of selections, entertaining owner, super friendly, best service ever, reasonable price and lots more to like. However, location can be improved.

I've never had Filipino food before and I have always seen this little food truck so we finally decided to try it. We were blown away not just with the service and knowledge of chef Robert but by the food itself. The fried lumpia rolls were perfectly crisp and weren't greasy at all, the chicken Inasal plate that I was recommended had the juiciest and most savory flavor profile that I could never accomplish on my own. But that bbq pork skewer plat my wife had? Epic is all I can say. Also the pricing is great! Nice to pick your own drink and sit at the many picnic tables to get your grub on. We will be back!

This is a food truck. I'm so glad they are located in the medical center. For busy folks that have short lunch breaks, you can call your order in ahead of time and it will be ready when you get there. Food is so delicious and I hope they add fish to their food truck menu.

We had an amazing experience with Chef Robert. He was super sweet and very informative about his menu. His service was very good, the food was even better, I ordered the pancit plate. I had never eaten Filipino food before and eating at chef Roberts restaurant did not disappoint at all, make sure to go with an empty stomach to enjoy everything he has to offer. You can tell he's very passionate about what he does, and all the love and joy he puts into every one of his plates shows. His food truck is located at The Fud Tailers facility parking space. Plenty of parking and shade with picnic tables to enjoy the food there at the location as well. Definitely coming back to this rare gem. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Chef Robert's food truck is such a great & welcome addition to the various food choices currently available in the Medical Center area.Chef R has been in the food & catering business for decades but this is his first venture into the food truck arena. His passion for what he does is evident in his tasty daily offerings.His flavorful pancit & lumpia, the standard bearers of Filipino cuisine, never miss to hit the spot. His pork bbq skewers are marinated & cooked to perfection, with just a bit of charring to seal the flavors in.Not as widely known but are very much worth a try are the chicken inasal & the pork belly. Also a hidden treasure is the fresh lumpia, lightly sautéed veggies swaddled in wrappers he makes on the spot.Chef R's dishes are very reasonably priced. His mission is to make them more affordable so more people can savor our native dishes.* You crave a dish that's not on his menu? Just let him know beforehand & he'll try to make it for you.* Chef R also takes pre-orders for parties & such. He does an awesome job catering as well.
