Immaculate and welcoming place!The service was exceptional, the young lady was excellent, and the food was delicious.It was great that we could have a table for 12 and were all comfortable.Kudos to everyone at Kindling; I have nothing but positive things to say about this restaurant, the staff, and the food.It was a tasty and memorable birthday dinner with friends!We will be back soon

So let's start with the ambience! This cute place has a nice outdoor patio and beautiful restored old craftsman home! It had the cutest little bar nook area that faces the street, and it's good sized yet cozy spot if you're looking for something with a homey comfy vibe.The staff was welcoming, friendly, & attentive! They were really knowledgeable about the menu.Everything thing was DELICIOUS!I got a wedge salad and the balsamic braised short rib !I also got an Aperol spritz & one of the best French 75's I've had in a while!

Quaint refurbished house with lots of charm and warm elegance. The service was friendly and welcoming. We ordered off the restaurant week menu (Culinaria).We started off with scallop cakes and an arugula salad. The arugula salad was fresh and delicious. The strawberries tasted like candy, the scallop cakes lacked bacon, but they were tasty. Next, we ordered the Mediterranean cod with sautéed vegetables and the New York strip steak with roasted vegetables.. both were delicious beyond words. For dessert, we had the Panna cotta and the black cherry cheesecake. The Panna cotta needed flavor. It was like eating yogurt however, the black cherry cheesecake didn't disappoint. It was creamy with a chocolate crust. Each dish had a cocktail pairing, the best being the Manhattan at the end of the meal. I will definitely be visiting again.

7/26/24Party of 4845pm reservationWe met my bil & sil here for dinner after arriving from Las Vegas. The decor is very homey, they have beautiful wooden tables and chairs. We started with drinks:Lemon drop: 10/10 made perfectly with Tito's vodka.Margarita: 10/10 my SIL loved it.Paloma: 8/10 made with grapefruit. Bitter and somewhat flavorless but refreshing if that makes sense Ribeye: 100/10 cooked medium, juicy, served with veggies and potatoes. King salmon with a crab cake: 10/10 crab cake was a bit salty but the salmon helped even out the flavors. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing. So so good. Like how are nachos this good? I'm still in shock a week later. The enchiladas my husband loved and my daughter said the fish tacos were great!

My second time eating here. My company had a dinner with about 20ish people. They handled our group well. Appetizers came out quickly. All of them were tasty that I got to try. Our meals were timed well and still the proper temperature. The scallops were prepared perfectly. Everyone was talking about how good it was the next morning and how much they enjoyed it.

Wow! Just wow! Perfect ambience, perfect service, perfect food! I have been patiently waiting to come here and finally got to last night and I wish I could dine here at least once a week! I had the ribeye and my dining companions had meatloaf and the mixed seafood grill. Everything was delicious, we had 4 or 5 appetizers, every one was great but the oysters Rockefeller were my favorite. I took bread pudding to go because I was so full and it was awesome.

A great experience in Cibolo. We had this place on our list for a while, but it's quite a drive. The Culinaria Week menu tipped the scale and we had to give it a try. They did a great job converting an old home with a grand porch into a restaurant. I really like restaurants like this that have a lot of separate rooms instead of one big, loud, dining room. So much character to pair with great food. Haley took great care of us on this visit.Get a reservation because they are small and busy with all this great food.I tried my wife's Crab Bisque and it was very flavorful. But the star was the cheesy bread. For my starter I had the Hearts of Romaine Salad. Those watermelon radishes were beautiful and the dressing spot on.My entree was something not on the regular menu and was a bountiful surprise. It was the biggest grilled New York Strip Steak I have ever had. About 13 ounces. The seasoning was so good I did not need the Mushroom Demi Glaze. Though it was excellent on the au gratin potatoes. Broccolini is not my favorite, but this rendition with garlic and a little butter was very tasty. For dessert I chose the German chocolate cheesecake. I was so full I had to take it to go so no great photo to share. It had a chocolate graham cracker crust and the cheesecake was rich, creamy and chocolatey. Many chefs skimp on the Culinaria Restaurant Week menu. Not at Kindling. The portions are as large as the flavor.

Dinner for two here was fantastic. I got the ribeye steak with potatoes and asparagus and my partner got the braised short rib. Both dishes were delicious and our server was sweet and quick with her work. Would recommend anything on the menu!

Amazing. If you're not use to trekking to Cibolo - get over it. The food is fresh, the steaks are amazing and the 1908 house of wine and ale is right next door. You will not be disappointed te
