The peppermint mocha was heavenly! It was the perfect hot holiday drink while on vacation. The pumpkin French toast was thick, moist, and very pumpkiny. Yum! I always order my bacon extra crispy and they did not disappoint. I love when restaurants have season menus. The fall season is my favorite and I have to take in as much pumpkin spice everything while it lasts. The combination of my breakfast with a holiday peppermint drink was the best! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Driving down from Fredericksburg to see a show and we stopped in at our favorite Austin staple last Friday night! We got there 30 min before close and the host promptly and kindly sat us. Our server was super sweet and we ordered everything at once. The Honey Butter Cinnamon coffee (latte?) was amazing, I've been making them at home ever since we had it. Started with the cowboy queso because how can you not have it when at Kerbey?!I got my favorite David's Enchiladas with chicken- they did not disappoint. Husband had The Kerbey Lane Combo with his pancakes upgraded with the cinnamon swirl. Better service than we've had at Austin locations. Everyone had a smile on their face and the restaurant was well taken care of and clean. We left very happy and full.

Needed a quick bite before leaving San Antonio. It was 3 pm and hubby was craving breakfast food, while I wanted lunch. Kerby lane accommodated both of our taste buds by having an all day breakfast menu. Had a lovely waitress who helped with the selections for our food. I had the boss burger which was well seasoned and paired well with their chipotle mayo sauce. Sweet potatoes fries were crisp and sweet. The golden glow juice was pretty good. What it came in a bigger cup for the price. Overall, very reasonable price for the amount of food. Restaurant was clean, not too pleased with the restroom.

Went for a late Sunday brunch after church. It is a nice casual cafe on the edge of the Rim. Service was pretty quick and our waitress was really nice and patient with us. My food was fantastic. I had the Kerbey Lane Combo and everything tasted fabulous. They gave a ton of home fries (breakfast potatoes) and I loved the pancakes. Also really liked you can add cinnamon swirl to any pancake for free (I added this to my blueberry pancakes. Everything tasted fabulous and I would definitely go back.

Yum! Went for brunch and I'm glad we did. It hit the spot. We were able to get on waitlist before getting there so we were seated in 5 min. I ordered the Kerbey Lane Combo. I asked for blueberry pancakes and my waitress asked if I wanted the cinnamon swirl on top. I said yes and yummmm so so good. This was my 3rd time coming. Have yet to have a bad experience. Great place :)

Yesterday was my first time at this place and it has such a good vibe! The front lobby was really nice & we didn't have to wait we were seated right away (mind you we came around 12pm). Our waitress was a sweetie pie, she noticed my child nagging so she took a pretend order for her which helped my child settle down. Food was amazing! I highly suggest the cinnamon swirl pancake I can't believe my child ate a whole one on her own!! Restrooms are a little strange and got locked inside because the lock is kinda hard but eventually I got out hahaha! The only thing I wish was that the outside of the restroom doors had a vacant sign or something to let you know someone is in there because I was going door to door knocking. Other than that I would say everything was fantastic!

The best part about Kerbey Lane is certainly the atmosphere and service. The inside almost makes you feel as if you've been transported to a trendy Colorado joint (or perhaps that's because it was freezing outside and the warm interior brought back vacation memories) but they certainly made an impact! Arriving around 9 am on a Saturday, we were sat right away and had an attentive and kind server. As for the fare: the hot chocolate was by far the best part of the breakfast. Perfectly flavored with a delicious whipped cream, it impressed me who isn't often a fan of sweets. The food was only ok, no stand out items and I think things could have used a bit more seasoning. They do offer quite a few options for special diets from vegan to gluten free which is great if you are looking for someplace to accommodate a crowd with different preferences. Definitely make a stop in to see for yourself, but maybe sneak a bottle of your favorite season or sauce in your pocket, you are likely to need it.

When I'm in Austin, Kerbey Lane was one of my go-to's. If you're expecting the charm of the original KL locations at this San Antonio location, you'll be disappointed. I tried coming a few other times when it first opened, yet the first time I was told that their online reservation was only working on certain days and I had to call. The second time I tried, I was not willing to wait 45 minutes for a table. I waited months, and on a weekday morning, knew that my chance of getting a table was high. I was able to reserve a table, and since my family didn't arrive right when the table was ready, I had to respond that we were on our way. When we arrived, we waited briefly for our table. The waitstaff was attentive, yet I wouldn't label it as friendly. My family placed their order, yet we brought in jackets and hoodies to stay warm since the restaurant was frigid inside. The coffee tasted okay, yet it nothing to rave about. My child was provided a kid's menu and colors, and this was one of the few times they weren't interested in it.When our food arrived, it was decent for a breakfast restaurant. I am sad that I couldn't order the Lemon Poppyseed pancakes I usually get at Kerbey Lane. I'm still not sure why they weren't available. I settled for Blueberry pancakes, which were good. I also ordered the Harvest Omelet. I'm glad I ordered a side of Hollandaise sauce since the omelet lacked flavor. My husband thought his meal was okay and the Chocolate Chip pancakes were good. My child didn't care for the black beans on their bean and cheese taco, and only ate the fruit. They've been raised on pinto beans in their tacos, so black beans were out of their comfort zone. If you want breakfast at Kerbey Lane, you could come to the San Antonio location, yet aside from knowing you were at KL, it could have been easily reamed with another restaurant's branding and you'd wouldn't know the difference. The ambience that made KL different is most definitely lacking in this San Antonio location.
