Kapej is such a charming little coffee shop serving delicious breakfast and brunch. As soon as I walked in, it felt like stepping into my grandmother's house warm and inviting. The vibe here is amazing, from the friendly staff to the beautiful art on the walls, greenery, and local jewelry, books for sale I ordered the 3 Leches Strawberry Matcha, and it was just as delicious as it sounds! I also got the egg sandwich, which was super good. The space is a bit small, but they offer seating in the front, plus a back room with tables that many people might not know about. There are also a few outdoor tables if you prefer to sit outside.Everything is reasonably priced for the quality of food and the overall good vibes. Definitely a hidden gem worth visiting!

Love this sweet little cafe in San Antonio! They have a creative and artsy atmosphere with a variety of food and drinks with decent prices.We ordered Malsa Chai and Golden Milk, both hot since the girl behind the counter was nice to give that suggestion. Highly recommend to those who are around downtown San Antonio!

You MUST visit this café!Former coffee shop and specialty tea shop barista here! I finally made the trip to Kapej and am so sad I didn't make it sooner. The atmosphere of this place was so chill and cozy, and the drinks perfected the experience. Art, jewelry, and other crafts for sale decorate the walls of this quiet café, and there's even a few notebooks at the front for customers to draw, write, and engage with. My fiancé and I admittedly came closer to closing time, but the barista that took our order and prepared our drinks didn't seem perturbed in the slightest, was so very kind, and had our drinks out to us in no time at all.We ordered an Iced Lavender Matcha Latte and an Iced Rose Matcha Latte with Almond Milk. The Lavender Matcha had the best matcha to lavender ratio I've ever had. The Lavender didn't overwhelm or overpower but PERFECTLY complemented the Matcha. It was crafted excellently; blended smooth and creamy, and had beautiful layering prior to mixing the drink ourselves. The same could be said about the Rose Matcha, however the rose taste was quite overpowering. I made the mistake of forgetting to ask for half Rose flavoring as rose itself has a very powerful taste, so it was like drinking a liquid rose. I couldn't really taste the matcha at all, but even then it was like drinking a lovely rose tea instead. Still absolutely delicious.I'm hoping to return soon so I can try out some of their pastries, namely their homemade pop tarts, and a few more of their unique flavors. This place was such a vibe and had such delicious teas that it's been hard to forget about!

The bread was perfectly toasted, with just the right amount of crunch on the outside and softness on the inside. The filling was a delightful mix of eggs, bacon, and avocado, making every bite incredibly satisfying. It's the kind of comfort food that hits the spot.Their avocado toast topped with a perfectly cooked egg was another highlight. The toast was crispy, the avocado fresh, and the combination of pickled onions and feta cheese added a nice tangy kick. It's clear they use high-quality ingredients, and the presentation was beautiful.But let's talk about the drinks! I had their layered matcha and strawberry drink, which not only looked stunning but tasted even better. It was refreshing and had just the right balance of sweetness. Enjoyed the place. Small, parking available, clean, drink was good and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were playing afrobeats. Would come back!

Flavorless Mexican hot chocolate. My boyfriend asked for an iced latte and they gave him a hot one. He told them and they just put ice in the same one. The homemade strawberry pop tart was the only enjoyable thing. $20 for that. Place was cute on the inside though.

This is a very cute spot. Located downtown with a beautiful view of the park right across the street from it. You can enjoy your coffee inside the cute shop or enjoy your coffee on the patio with a view. They offer a variety of coffee for an affordable price. They put their spin on some flavors and it's incredible. This is def a must stop to try a new coffee spot in town. They are friendly and willing to recommend a coffee if you are not sure what to get. They also have pastries and food items as well. Go visit and leave your own review. They also have art from local artists for sale.

I'm always trying new and interesting coffee shops to try to help the coffee community and I was extremely impressed with Kapej!Coffee/Food: I ordered the strawberry matcha and it was extremely good! I also ordered the pop tart and it was good (it's hard to mess up a pop tart), but I believe they make all their pastries in house (correct me if I'm wrong).Service: The workers were extremely nice and helpful, they walked around and asked if my partner and I were doing okay and even offered a water refill which I was really grateful for!
