Kafekali & Bakery has big town flavor, with that small town charm and hospitality. This place is a must visit if you find yourself in Canyon Lake.We spent the weekend here tubing, and needed that morning pick me up before driving back to Houston. For a tiny cafe, they do a really good job with service. They have a small inside and a drive thru available, with a couple seats on the outside patio. No public restrooms FYI.We tried their bees knees, latte Coronado, and their special malinalli. My favorite was their latte Coronado which had a unique goat milk caramel which wasn't too sweet. The pastries are a must try as well. We loved their jalapeno sausage croissant, strawberry cream cheese danish, spinach Florentine bundle, and croissant sandwich.Kafekali & Bakery really is a small town hidden gem, 10/10 would recommend coming here during your weekend Canyon Lake getaway. Enjoy!

I pulled in here simply because I saw a giant coffee cup on their sign and needed my morning fix. Kafekali is wonderfully eclectic and welcoming I loved all the outdoor seating with beautiful views. The owner was in and so lovely to talk to she bakes everything herself. I really enjoyed that my coffee had coffee ice cubes so I didn't have to drink a watered down coffee. I HIGHLY suggest the chocolate croissant I'll dream of her forever. Thank you for the amazing service and conversation this will be my coffee stop when I'm in the area!!

You have to go early to get the best pickings of any baked goods of course. The coffee is always phenomenal. Friendly and helpful staff that have a smile on their face despite the earliness I'm sure they have to wake up to make such amazing treats. Quaint little place with outdoor seating or a drive-thru for your convenience. Try the Cuban if that's your thing, it's my favorite start to the day!

Very cute exterior/interior and very welcoming. Felt very home-like. Really relaxing sitting outside of the cafe. Big, pretty trees for shade. I ordered the Bees Knees iced coffee with whipped cream and tried some of the almond and chocolate croissants. Everything was great! The staff were very friendly too.

Fresh and amazing pastries and coffee. Friendly and kind staff who are patient while you're picking from all the choices. Dog friendly too

Pastries are delicious! We had a blueberry strudel and a cinnamon roll. Pastries were fresh and one of the best we have tried. My chai tea latte was also delicious. Service was friendly and explanations of the selection were thorough. Overall, 10/10, I'll make sure to come back next time I'm in the area.

Best coffee I have ever had! Plenty to choose from. I had Warrior Coffee with coconut milk. Lots of bakery and sandwich choices also.

This place is so cute, really nice staff and really good coffee. Definitely also has good outdoor seating and ambiance.

We've had just about every baked good they make, and every one was world-class delicious. The crusts are flaky yet firm. The contents/fillings have just the right balance of flavor and texture: Not too sweet and not too thin. The building is mostly kitchen, so it's a tiny lobby you enter to place your order. Then you can eat your treats either on the wrap-around porch or on chairs & tables laid out under the surrounding trees. Or just take them home. Plenty of adjacent parking. If you're anywhere near Kafekali, check it out for yourself. We love it!!

Oh, I got to say is that this little bakery within canyon lake is a hidden treasure!The ambience is a humble home, with a small indoor area. However, I don't before that, because the pastries and drinks are absolutely delicious! Never have I been to a place where the barista has told me, "whatever type of coffee drink you can think of, we can probably make"! I had a delicious vanilla caramel latte with cayenne which was DELICIOUS! We also tried the lemon, blueberry pastry, croissant, croissant, breakfast sandwich, cheese, lol, and beef, fine... All of which were very high-quality pastries!Would 100% purchase from here again, and recommend anyone in the canyon lake area to visit!
