BLUF, best Italian food we have had since returning from being stationed in Naples Italy!!We have been looking for an authentic Italian restaurant for years and finally decided to drop in and try Julian's for lunch. Eggplant Parmesan was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, had a side of spaghetti with a light garlic oil that took me back to our time in Italy! I could eat a bowl of this pasta by itself!!Pepperoni Pasta was like a meat lovers pizza but in pasta! The wife loved it! Not to spicy and full of flavor Tiramisu: Best Tiramisu I have had since leaving Italy! I now know where to get my fix! If you're looking for authentic Italian food, Julian's in the strip mall off 1604/Bulverde behind Whataburger is your place!!

I love the ideaology, order food, sit, it's delivered. all of the utensils and napkins are on the table and the drinks are self serve. However, my app was delivered to a newly seated table. i had to ask for my app when my food arrived a few minutes later. I ordered the mozz sticks, shrimp parm and vanilla huey. the sticks were basic but fresh. so great! the shrimp parm was tragic. it was tough and chewy, even under the marinara. we sat for 15 mins after eating to wait on dessert. we finally adked for it to go. so i havent tried it. My children said they'd rather Olive Garden. i was hoping to love it. i will try it again as they are pretty busy in the evening it could be a tragic end to restaurant week.

Service was amazing, food was even better, 10/10 will recommend. Stayed past closing and never felt rushed (we didn't stay long) but they were very nice!!

We had a great lunch here! Love the decor with plenty of natural light. My kids loved all the signs and pictures on the walls. We had good service, our food came our quick and hot. It was awfully quiet at the table because everyone was devouring their food. Pizza is definitely kid approved. The hubs thoroughly enjoyed the Italian sub. And I loved my Sicilian salad, so fresh tasty and crunchy. We will be back and I am excited to try more on the menu.

We had a nice family dinner at Julian's. Fetticini with chicken was a hit. Son had a very large and tasty sausage calzone. DIL had a nice chicken parmesean. Husband enjoyed his sausage rigatoni. Sausage zesty without being on fire. The ceasar and house salads were on point. Cheese garlic bread a bit disappointing - cheese did not extend to the edges of the bread. No room left for dessert. Efficient wait staff. Self-serve drink refills. Plenty of parking out front. Nice patio for days you want to be outdoors.

It's always so uncomfortable to share disappointing experiences, but it comes with the territory of writing honest reviews. Last night my husband and I ordered (to go) and our experience was extremely unpleasant. I ordered a 12" VEGGIE pizza which the menu shows "12.95" on the menu or $15.95 for the pre-made veggie 12". We ordered that and mozzarella sticks and our order total was $32! (Crazy) I went up to the counter because my receipt was not itemized and the total seemed like way more than I should've been charged. Tina is who I spoke with, got an itemized receipt and mentioned to her it didn't make sense why the pizza was $20.95 she completely dismissed my concerns. I'm not one to ever make a scene so I just got my order and left, with receipt in hand! Total rip off and I won't EVER return! Horrible customer service and experience!

Had a calzone and it was okay.. I've certainly had better. It says that it's made to order but yet my calzone wasn't steaming hot like it just came out the oven.. something suspicious about their made to order. There was more ricotta than mozzarella and the sausage that was inside could've been more. It's a decent spot but probably wouldn't try the calzone again. The pizza slices are pretty big from what I've seen.
