Came here on a Thursday night with a group of seven. We were able to get a table relatively quickly after ordering two large pies. We're from New York originally so we do enjoy a good slice. This reminded us a little bit of home. It was enough to feed all of us and we had some leftovers to go home with as well. They also have beer and wine available for purchase at a reasonable price. This place is great for groups. Would come back in the future.

I decided to give the location another try after my last visit. Yet, this experience proved to be no better. While the ordering and service was friendly and timely this time, the food was subpar. The cheese bread was literally that .. bread and cheese .. no butter or garlic or herbs. I did, however, like the dipping sauce. The pizza was an All Meat. Of the four meats ... only the pepperoni appeared to be baked as a part of the pizza. The remaining items were on top and cold. The sausage was super large chunks that required a fork and knife to eat.Overall, I am not impressed.

Abort abort. Do NOT go to this location. Go to the west ave location. I love the Julian's on west. Have gone for years. I do not know why I thought "let's try another location". BAD move. Service ok, we picked up. The quality of food was atrocious. Asked for crispy crust. Received the furthest thing from crispy. The sauce on one pizza tasted different from the other. The pizza rolls were not the pizza rolls we love at the west ave location. They were more like capos and I hate capos. Got a side of pasta with meat sauce. The meat sauce or sauce meat because there was no meat was awful and the pasta tasted stale or frozen and just bad. 50$ meal!!! I was so excited and hungry as we always are getting Julian's. But I will say, it's my fault 1000% for NOT going to the west ave location. I've never been let down by them. Our first try here and this. If you go here religiously. Try the west ave location. It will change your life.

This is our go-to spot if we haven't sorted out something for lunch or dinner. Time(s): Too many to narrow down.Vibes: It's a cute place, simple. Service: They take the order and that's pretty much it. They've always been friendly at checkout but that's the extent of the service as far as we know. Food: I like it because they have both gluten free crust and pasta. Is it the best gluten free some have had, maybe not BUT I think it's pretty darn good! My go-tos are gluten free pizza with ricotta and sausage, caprese salad, and gluten free Alfredo. Never disappointed at this location. Hubby gets whatever pizza is on his mind that day but normally cheese or sausage. Always gets an order of pizza rolls too which he loves! I will say THIS location is the BEST in our opinion. We have gone to another location and my pasta was so dry. They barely gave me any Alfredo sauce. We now only go to this location.

The mozzarella sticks were very delicious. Alfredo was a little too oily, and chicken was very tough. Both pizzas we ordered were very greasy. We kept seeing many complaints from other customers about their orders. But kudos to the staff for being very pleasant.

Ordered pizza, salad, and chicken parm! Overall, we really liked the food! The All Meat pizza was delicious, packed with pepperoni, sliced Italian sausage, smoked ham, and sliced meatballs (hadn't had that on a pizza before, so yummy!!) I loved the chicken parm, but thought the consistency of the pasta was a little off. But maybe because we got to go and ate it a little later. House salad was refreshing! We ordered to go and it came with a complimentary loaf of bread (which I thought was okay). Service was friendly! Inside atmosphere is very cute and casual. Would go back for pizza!

"Almost Italian." Good for pizza & not much else. In addition to pizza, we've tried 3 entrees & all were mediocre: lasagna, eggplant parm & chicken picatta. Texture of chicken was weird & husband couldn't identify the meat in the lasagna. The pizza is always good, but don't spend your money on anything else.

I went to the Alamo Heights Kitchen three years ago--and they were so f...ing rude, I said I'd never go back. So in my quest of the best restaurants in San Antonio, I figured that I'd give them a second chance. This time I went to the West Ave Kitchen--and I had the pizza (of course). first, everyone was cordial...nice! The pizza looked great....I had high hopes! Pizza was fair at best, a bit greasy--no clue on how their Italian Food is. Got sick as soon as I got home. Will no be returning
