We came Saturday and it seemed like every dude there had long hair. The live music was good and we always love the patio!

This was a tiny little place that I've never been too before. Me and the husband were here for a show put on by Haus of Erotique so it was pretty packed. The fog machines were a bit overkill and my contacts were feeling it lol. Drinks were good and the people were nice and fun to be around. Would try it out on a normal night out to see how it really is.

Disgusting. Service was terrible even when taking care of the bartender and buying shots. He followed me out and asked if I was going to take care of the bill. Gladly but not when there's not deserving service. I would give this place zero stars if I could. Terrible!!!!! They weren't welcoming at all when we came in as far as ambiance. We did not get food at all because it was late. But def will NOT be coming back with this service!

I ended up at this place after visiting the Brass Monkey across the street. Let me tell you right now, this place has a VERY cool vibe. It's laid back, and it's a happenin' place to be, but it's not wall to wall people. It's a great place to wind down and decompress after experiencing the crowd and the high energy across the street at the Brass Monkey. This place is so chill, that they even cut the number of syllables in the name in half so all you have to say is "I'm going to Jandro's" instead of "I'm going to Alejandro's" LOL.I walked in and felt as if I found my own personal Mecca. It. Was. That. Great. There's a very talented live band playing on a small stage in the far corner. When I strolled in, they were playing some smooth jazz, and it really relaxed me. Then they broke into some Tom Petty, and they even played the David Allan Coe classic "You Never Even Called Me by My Name." This band managed to cover many genres of music - and I really dug it!Any place that chills me out like this and has good music and service auto magically (yes, I said auto magically) gets five stars from me!No cover charge.Great bartenders, good service, a couple of TVs', and a patio/deck out front. Love it!As most places on the strip, there's no parking lot, so you'll have to find a spot on the street and might have to walk a bit - or Uber.

Cool little bar/music venue in south town. Good drinks and just an all around good vibe at this place! Not huge but also downs that's to be. I was there for a little show one night and it got pretty busy and I didn't feel like service was slow or uncomfortable or anything like that. Would go back for sure!

Wasn't expecting this live jazz band to perform on a Tuesday night. From their appearance, they seemed out of their element, however they played plenty of catchy tunes. The bartenders were experienced at making the cocktails....they were made to perfection. It was a mature atmosphere, not rowdy whatsoever, people of different ages were there to listen to great music. No cover on the evening I attended. Great artwork displayed throughout.

Eclectic music space with a very decent dance floor. We went on a rare cold day, but the energy kept us warm. The restroom could use a little attention, but that was the least of our worries. Had a great time at Jandro's.

This place has instantaneously become one of my favorite bars in San Antonio. The live music here is amazing on the weekends! The bartenders are very quick and know what they are doing. I had an old fashioned and a sazerac and both drinks were made perfectly. It kind of feels like one of the bars on Rainey street in Austin.P.s. My favorite food truck in San Antonio is across the street! This place could not get any better... Grab you some Tacos El Regio on the way out.

This place reeks of a lack of father figures. Still fun, though.Nice variety of attire. The bartenders are pleasant.

Okay, there are speciality lounges, and then there are dive bars, and Jandro's Garden Patio seems to live in this weird in between funky, eclectic sort of "artsy" bar. Hard to follow? Well, that sort of sums up the Jandro's experience. Not great. Not bad. But weirdly special. Perhaps it was the live jazz band playing sultry tunes, or the artist in the corner painting. Yes, you read that right, an artist sitting in the dimly lite corner, empty booze littered around her, the aroma of pizza lingers in the air, while laughs are shared, art conversations are taking place, and jazz compacts the atmosphere. To say I fell in love with this melting pot of art and music is an understatement. Any art lover, real art lover, would find Jandro's to be their choice to sip a cocktail or ice cold beer while talking art. Don't believe me? Well, next time you find yourself in San Antonio ... be sure to venture in. This is one place you have to check out, at least for a simple drink made by lovers of art.
