Lunch was SO good! This place consistently puts out great food. I wish we lived closer.

Service was quick, food was hot, and fresh. The eggroll was nice & crispy (hot & fresh). No picture of the egg drop soup but it hit the spot.,Always an oldie but goodie.

Glad for the comeback. Lemons chicken chef's kiss!! Would have been a 5 but the egg drop was a tad gelatinous and the fried rice needs some work, other than that. Good food

Hung Fong is a Family styled Chinese restaurant featuring all of your favorite dishes. The restaurant is clean and the service is always very friendly. There is typically never any waiting to be seated and reservations are not required. It's easy to get to, located just a few blocks south of Incarnate Word University. Limited parking is located across the side street with no charge. As Always - Enjoy in Good Health.

I've been goin to meet family and friends at Hung Fong for over 30 years.The food is traditional delicious. I will be coming back with family from out of town in the coming holidays. Good job to the service.

This place never disappoints. Serving are big, prices are not. Staff is always friendly and courteous no matter how busy or slow the restaurant is going. The vibe is a family friendly style dining. Hung Fong has been around for a long time and I don't see them going anywhere as long as they continue to serve the great food and keep pricing the way they do.

Wonton or egg drop soups will never disappoint and the egg rolls are big and stuffed and so crispy and flavorful. I enjoy the lemon chicken it is tender juicy and crispy their fried rice has a good flavor profile and I enjoy ordering combination rice they have onion bean sprouts in there and I enjoy that. I also their their egg foo young the gravy is a brown savory gravy no sweetness to it which is how I prefer my gravy

What you are charged on the check may be more than what's on the menu. We ordered two lunch specials and the price on the check for each was about a dollar more than what was listed on the menu. The cashier seemed a little confused about it, but not surprised. He thought it was tax already added in until I pointed out that the tax was added again at the bottom. Food and service was good, but being overcharged doesn't sit right.

Hung Fong offers a mixed bag when it comes to its menu. The BBQ pork fried rice and lemon chicken stood out as solid options--flavorful and well-prepared, they made the meal worthwhile. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was less impressive. The Mongolian beef was underwhelming, lacking the depth of flavor you'd expect, and the lo mein noodles were similarly forgettable. Portion sizes were smaller than what you'd typically get at other Chinese restaurants, which was a bit disappointing given the price point. The a la carte setup was also a little confusing--every entrée comes with rice, but it's a single serving, so it doesn't feel like the best value. If you're in the area and craving Chinese food, Hung Fong could be worth a try for the fried rice or lemon chicken. For a more filling and flavorful experience, though, you might want to explore other options. I'm still on the search for something more authentic.

Ordered lemon chicken and beef n broccoli. Appetizer Rangoon came out first cold n hardMy food came out way before my fiancés so I couldn't eat without him. Lemon chicken was amazing. Beef was bland no flavor rice was horrible it was yellow no flavor not even fried rice. Portions very small I would never come back or waste my money on bland food I can cook better myself from Heb products for cheaper.
