Hula Poke

Has a lot of options for their poke bowls and they also add a good amount to your bowl. I really liked all the furikake options as well and the salmon seemed fresh. The inside is nice and clean and has small tables you can sit at. There was no line so if you want a quick take out option this would be good as well.

Still GREAT food! Pricing increases haven't scared me away just yet, but it's getting close. Few protein options in comparison to some other poke locations I've been to in Nevada and California, but I don't mind. I do wish I realized that crab salad was at the end and wouldn't count as a protein, but it looked a little bland anyway. I've always enjoyed the option for brown rice and KALE (many others I've gone to don't have it). Their wasabi aioli has always been the best proportion of any locations and truly takes the bowl to a level that others just can't reach without it. I'm grateful for the mango and masago as they tie all my flavors together and it seems bare without them. Delightful staff and quaint sitting area.

When I walked in, I immediately was in awe of the space but as continued toward the food, I was overwhelmed. (So many option/decisions) I'm a meatball subway sandwich type of gal so this was a test of mental...On that note, my sister was familiar with the process I said I'm new here! Lol I love it when people are patient with me. They do have signature bowls and you could remove ingredients as you wish. I certainly appreciate this spot. After deciding to eat in, I grabbed my bowl and started to give a lil Shake Shake Shake and mixed these ingredients together OMG! each bite was fresh. Each portion served made my eyes go big and the left over were delicious! Shouts to the world - I WILL be back

Food is amazing and employees are quick but price is much higher than other poke in town and way smaller in portions especially the rice. Wish i could say it was worth the higher price :(

I was a little disappointed when I was building my poke bowl. I asked for a salad base and I was expecting a spring salad (or at least a mix of greens like other places I've been to), but all they had for the "salad" was shredded lettuce, so I added rice for more sustenance. I liked that they didn't charge for crab salad, seaweed salad, or masago. The portion size was a little small in my opinion, but it was good enough for someone like me. Taste wise, it was surprisingly very good! I think I had lowered my expectations when I saw the portion size, the small scoops of fish, and the shredded lettuce, but the ingredients tasted nice and fresh.

Ordered a create a bowl to-go with salmon and shrimp tempura, with all sorts of good toppings. I definitely enjoyed the flavor, however felt like there should be more protein, there was barely any salmon in the bowl. Don't think I'll be back but the food wasn't terrible, just good. Service was very kind and online ordering made it easy.

I am a big fan of poke bowls and this is the first one I've tried in San Antonio!! The fish options are very fresh and they also offer eel? Very nice and tasty They also don't limit the amount of toppings you can choose so I chose basically everything but they have your traditional options such as seaweed and crab salad and other more contemporary options such as kale and hot Cheetos?? I wuv crunchy and sour daikon and ginger Overall I definitely recommend! The server was very patient and gave big portions of the sides so :) very happy I am pretty picky about the quality of raw fish n this was definitely not bad for a poke place!

Hula Poke is the absolute best!I visited for the first time yesterday and I was highly impressed with not only their food but how nice the staff was. I like that besides building your own bowl, salad or wrap, they also have some suggestions which you can already choose from (see the photo on my review for the menu). For this first visit, decided to go with the Hawaiian classic bowl and a create your own bowl. The Hawaiian Classic had ahi tuna, cucumber, red onions, lettuce, masago, pineapple, avocado and house classic salad. The other bowl was almost the same ingredients but with spicy tuna and ahi tuna. Both of the bowls were absolutely delicious and the fish tasted so fresh. Frankly, I can't wait to come back again and eat another delicious bowl of poke. It is the best kinda meal you can have with this Texas summer!

I ordered a to-go bowl. This was my order. I have to say this is the best poké i've ever had. they have lots of options and i like that they have the half sushi half brown rice option. they also have a generous amount of everything in the bowl. i thought the bowl was going to be small due to the previous reviews i read but it was actually about medium-sized and it was filled to the top. fair price. recommend eating from here 10/10

The man who helped us was very kind and the food is so yummy and filling, I appreciate how he didn't skimp on our bowls. Will definitely be coming back !
