Came to experience something new and left with the yearning to want it everyday. This wonderful gem is hidden in Schertz. If you're passing through make sure you stop here for great tasting garlic shrimp, kalbi, and butter mochi. The chef and his staff were very friendly and the atmosphere is quiet and angelic with that island playlist. We will definitely make the 40 min drive every month for this amazing Hawaiian bbq!

Being from Hawaii there's not many local food places. The one place I did try I was not impressed and Hawaiian Bros is def a fraud. Saw this place opened. It was a nice clean spot. Service was good. I called my order in and got a Hapa Mix plate with beach bbq chicken, kalbi, and Kalua pig and cabbage. It was good for not having local food in an about a year. Chicken could be a little more moist and kalbi a little more flavor. And it's hard to mess up the Kalua pig there were big pieces of cabbage but it wasn't a big deal. Mac salad was on the dry side compared to what I'm used to. But I also try to stay away from carbs so I only had two bites and should have asked for all salad and no rice. Overall it was a good plate and will def go back to try more.

Howzit catered our event today and the food was hot and delicious! I especially liked the spring rolls. Locally Ive been to a few Hawaiian restaurants and this one really was top tier. I can't wait to go and visit the actual restaurant. The Facility Managers at CCSD-Lackland THANK YOU

I went back a 2nd time again, amazing customer service an was very pleased with my order. Food was so delicious an hot served so neat. Respectful staff very warm an pleasant environment. So happy there is a dining area now. Such a great place to eat.

Food is great! Don't sleep on the Spam musubi. One won't be enough. The entrees are big and cooked to perfection. The rice is the best I've had in ages!

We tried Howzit Hawaiian Kitchen today for the first time. We had the Miso Salmon Plate and the North Shore Garlic Shrimp Plate. We started with a couple Spam Musubi and Boiled Peanuts.The Musubi is kept in a warmer so we ate those in the car on the way home. Rice is delicious and the teriyaki glaze on the Spam is just the right amount of sweet to offset the saltiness of the spam. The peanuts were well-prepared and really flavorful.The portions for the main dishes were generous. We will get two meals out of each. I requested a special cook on the salmon since most restaurants here cook it to death. They can do this since your food is cooked to order. They nailed it! The garlic shrimp were cooked perfectly and were very tasty.The green salad with sesame dressing was a favorite. I could eat a whole bowl of that! The Mac salad wasn't our favorite, but I can't really speak to its authenticity. I personally would have preferred it with a bit of spice in it.Give this place a try and you won't be disappointed!

Went to try Howzit and gotta say it was great. I got the Kalua pig and combo plate. There was a lot of food on each plate and now we have leftovers for dinner. All the meats were very tasty, rice was good and Mac was delicious. For sure we will be returning the next time we crave some good Hawaiian food.

The food is delicious! Everything is super tasty and authentic. The family that owns it are really wonderful people. I also love the really convenient location. I highly recommend!!
