I've passed by this place for years. The one thing that has always turned me off was the gosh darn parking. Four spaces and you back up into S. Flores traffic. This place has a really good set up inside. Very clean and spacious. Nice big shelves of pan Dulce , donuts , cookies and tres leches. I was so excited when I saw the bite size pan de Huevos. Wow ......so cool and fantastic for someone like me who is trying to cut down on portions. The pecan sandies or wedding cookies are melt in your mouth delicious. I could eat a dozen of those quarter size things. Then I remember ........ Portion control. But the one thing I have a hard time "portion controlling" is the Tres Leches!!! Oh my goodness !!! Ooohhh my goodness!! By far the best tres leches I have had in a very long time. Even better then HEB. Horno I'm almost positive puts some kind of flavored liqueur . Not gonna find that at HEB. Horno has a pineapple tres leches and a strawberry tres leches and..... And they will sprinkle Pecans on top if you want them to. ((((drooling yet..... Yes I know)))So all in all I'm more then happy to ...... ooh so carefully back up my car into S. Flores to go home and test my portion control.

My favorite bakery I've been to, the mini conchas are great for the kids and more variety than any other place I've been. The pan dulce here is unlike anywhere else, it's literally sweet, and great texture.

This place has, hands down, the best Mexican bread in the entire city of San Antonio. I can't believe I didn't know about this place for so many years. We bought 150 pieces for an event and everyone raved about how delicious it was. This will now be our go-to place for pan dulce!
