Hillbillyz

We stopped for dinner on our way back to Canyon Lake this past weekend and I'm so happy we did. They had recently rebuilt after a fire and I loved the new place. Plenty of space, inside and out and a chill, friendly vibe. The staff was great and I had the best spicy michelada that I've had in awhile. To eat, we had the sandy special and the chicken nachos. Both were tasty and the chicken on the nachos was great. As an added bonus, they have a few hummingbird feeders on the porch and we saw at least 15!

This place is so different and fun! I love the surroundings and how it's in the middle of no where . The burgers are so good and the service is amazing! i love how authentic the people are there and they even have live music sometimes . i do know that they were just burned down which is sooo sad but i think there raising money to re build so if you see a go fund me add too it because they're sooo fun and yummy!!

A rare treat! Always mind-blowing to see an owner converse with the public. They will make any brisket in a family-friendly fashion, have plenty to look at and experience in the open-air restaurant, popcorn for all and salted chocolate-caramel to-go. No sauce needed for the Brisket-Reuben. It should be a National staple; especially for us Texan-New Yorkers. A place to call home and feel Welcome: Hillbillyz for the win. Austin to Boerne will never be without this new stop; the good stop at Bill's, Hillbillyz!

Love this place. It is a biker stop open on the weekends. If you dont know it's here you will buzz right past it. The atmosphere is super chill and the menu is simple. The brisket plate is my go to but I have tried it all and love it. It's open air but the breeze will keep you cool. The views are amazing and the owners are the absolute best. I try to stop in when I head to austin or san Marcos on the weekends.

One of my favorite places to go anytime I am within a 100 miles of it. The place has a unique character and friendly people, staff and locals, that welcome you in. You can sit out on the deck and watch deer at the pond, there might happen to be a chili cook off and other events happening or arrive to find a group of classic cars. The food is old school diner style with a "Billy" touch and the best is that your ice cold beer hits the bar about the same time your butt hits your barstool. Well worth the effort to see.

Wonderful redo in this place, fun, casual and basic food. BBQ is good and nachos were ok, could have had more meat on them. But I will go back and try something different!

Hillbillyz is under construction now after a catastrophic fire. Not sure why it is shown as open. I certainly hope they can rebuild quickly so we can once again enjoy it.

A great Texas hole in the wall. I took a friend of mine there from Europe. He said this is what Europeans think of when they think of Texas. Food is good, beer is cold, and service is friendly. You will see bikers, Cowboys, hippies, and city slickers enjoying themselves. Great people watching place. And did I say the beer is cold?

Husband and I stopped at Hillbillyz for lunch. I had a cheeseburger and a cold Miller Lite. My husband had a cup of pinto beans. My burger was perfect. Meat was really good quality. Bun did not fall apart! ( I hate it when that happens.). Lettuce and tomatoes were very fresh. What more can I say. Loved the Texas decor. Oh and the beans were great, too!

Burgers and sausage wraps are amazing. Cool old cars out front. There is a fish tank with a bunch of fish and very cool decorations.
