High Street Wine Company

If you love wine, then High Street Wine Company is the place for you!I've been a huge fan of this business, since they opened and I can assure you that the quality in service, wine and food has stayed the same throughout the years. High Street is one of the few wine bars in the city which actually carries a large variety of wines and the staff is always super knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions you may have. One of my favorite things about High Street is their location inside The Pearl. They are tucked in across from Cured which makes it feel a little bit more intimate and you are away from all the crowds. Please note they offer both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it perfect for anyone bringing a dog. They also offer wine classes twice a month which I've heard are really fun and interactive.

Just love this place! On Thanksgiving weekend we were a large party and beaded here with no reservations- we were seated immediately and our party enjoyed their amazing food , wine and beers!The folks here are always great - we enjoyed a fun and friendly debate with them about what constitutes a Christmas movie while enjoying their flatbreads ( tried the salmon one this time and it's pretty spectacular) cheese plates and bubbles flights!They also have a fantastic range of beers with some hard to find IPAs from some really great Breweries! High Street might just be my favorite place to enjoy a drink and food in SA!

Such a lovely experience visiting High Street for the first time! Tucked away in The Pearl, I had no idea this place even existed. The indoor/outdoor ambiance is fabulous. The service and education provided by the staff and sommelier was so informative and insightful. I visited for their annual Vinopalooza event and tasted so many unique wines! I can't wait to come back to this sweet little wine bar!

Nice, mellow, and cool joint. If you're getting bad service here, I can only imagine it's a case of transference. The charcuterie was so fresh, and the wine selection is darn extensive! Great vibes!It was a hot Saturday, and after taking the Go Rio Shuttle all the way to the end of the line, we disembarked for a five minute stroll through The Pearl. The nice, dark interior helped ease the heat of day, and the incredibly helpful service was beyond compare. We were able to relax at the bar, have some unique wines we might not choose for ourselves, and enjoy a very fresh charcuterie. They are very welcoming at High Street. My wife got a flight, and she asked for our bartender to put something together, which he did with a nice explanation of each.We found it a nice place to relax between river shuttles and have a completely different sauna Antonio experience. This is a "will definitely return" kind of place. We even bought a tshirt

Perfect spot for date night/girls night/etc!! This was my first time back since they renovated and I love the additional space. They offer a quality wine menu and a pretty good food menu (small bites & flatbreads). The service was impeccable, we never had to refill our own glasses once! Definitely will be back soon. Thank you, High Street!

Came to one of the wine tasting classes they offer on Monday's. They've been offering these for a while and I always had something come up so I was excited to finally join one. This one was on southern hemisphere white wines. All choices were excellent! Perfect for the summer hell we're living in. This class was very informative and takes you on a geographic journey that helps you make informed decisions about wines of that region. The speaker was very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. The location itself is actually quite smaller than I expected but it's obvious why they're closing to expand. Prices are on the higher side but as long as service and quality are on par then I think it's worth it. Definitely stop by before they close on July 9. You don't have to take a class just stop by for some great wines, vibes and views of the pearl. Kudos for putting on wine classes especially for uninformed people like me!

High Street is my go to spot for wine and charcuterie. It has a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere with a wall that opens up into a patio in the heart of the Pearl. During the holidays, it's so nice with the Christmas lights all around the building. They have an impressive collection of wine at all price points and delicious charcuterie and snacking options. Today we tried the flatbread which was soooo good. The servers are all very knowledgeable and able to guide you through their menu. High Street is a wonderful place to spend quality time snacking and sipping with your loved ones.

Really excellent selection of wine! The food was also amazing, specifically the flatbreads. It is a small space, but quaint. Service was good, but not great. Overall a must-try if in The Pearl area!

The service started off strong, but unfortunately, the staff seemed to forget about us as the time progressed. Despite this, I highly recommend trying the Neapolitan flatbread--it was exceptional. Additionally, they offer a diverse selection of wines to complement your experience.
