Henry's Mexican Restaurant

What we got:Carne Guisada with cheesePotato,bacon, egg and cheeseBean and cheeseThe tacos were so good! So happy to find a "mom and pop" restaurant that serves up some yummy breakfast tacos. The tortillas are homemade and soft. So if you are driving the back roads of San Antonio you will end up in a small town of Martinez at the corner of Fm1516 and FM1346 (also known as Houston street). Stop in for some great tacos and friendly service. Oh and the hot sauce was flavorful as well.

The Breakfast tacos are pretty good, I've had them a couple of times. Stopped by for lunch and my wife and I tried the burgers, big mistake. Soy beef patties are a big no for us. Secondly, we added bacon for an extra 2 dollars each burger. The problem was the bacon was halfway raw and pink. Overall paid 24 $ for 2 bacon cheese burgers with raw bacon and soy beef patties with fries and two teas. Mentioned the issues with the cashier and she discounted 2$ off the ticket that was originally 26$. Won't b going back and it made us both sick after only a couple of bites we each took. Should've not had to pay nothing.

I've been coming here for 15 years and the food has always been exceptional. I moved to Houston and still stop by to get breakfast tacos, lunch and even order enchiladas and tamales for family gatherings. Great family run business

Great service, great food. Working a job in the area and most days eat there twice a day breakfasts and lunch.
