Don't honor their contract. Horrible business to work with for my wedding. I would highly not recommend them

My husband and I chose Heavenly Gourmet to do the catering for our wedding on 5/01/16. The food and service exceeded our expectations. We received SO MANY compliments! Let's face it, most wedding food tends to be mediocre at best. That wasn't the case at our wedding!We decided on the Heavenly Baby Spinach Salad, the Heavenly Stuffed Chicken, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and green beans. We also included the Mac and cheese bar as a late night snack. All of the food was served fresh and hot. It was absolutely delicious!! We chose the buffet style versus the table services since we were on a budget. We were glad that they offered this option since it was very affordable. We made sure to order plenty of extra plates to cover the 250 guests and the vendors. We ended up with food left over so they kindly packed it up for us to enjoy later. I really appreciate the fact that they were also able to accommodate our request for bean and cheese nachos for the kiddos. We received positive feedback from the parents of the picky eaters. It's been six years since our wedding and we still salivate at the idea of enjoying our complimentary anniversary meal from there. Yeah, that anniversary meal is definitely an added bonus of being part of the Heavenly Gourmet family! We have zero regrets about selecting Heavenly Gourmet for our special day!

What a sad disappointment. I was excited to work with this caterer in planning my daughters wedding. When my daughters plans changed and we needed to downsize the wedding, I promptly notified them and requested a refund. This was more than 6 months before the wedding. I received a 30% return not if the deposit owed, but what I had paid. Beware - this is greed and greed never wins. Don't pay more than the bare minimum if you use them at all. Oh, and the credit card payment form has a different refund amount - intentionally confusing paperwork?

We hired Heavenly Gourmet to cater our daughter's sweet 16. All our guests raved about the delicious food! We had chicken cordon bleu, garlic mash,and asparagus. We also got ice cream floats for a late night snack, and that was fun. The staff not only set up tables, chairs and linens, they even offered to help us set out centerpieces and candles. Leading up to the event we had to make several changes, but everyone was helpful and understanding. We even had to postpone the event twice because of Covid! Overall we were very impressed! I just wish I would have taken a picture of the food.

I honestly do not know how this company has five star ratings on The Knot and Wedding Wire. Yes, they're cheap but cheap food that the majority of which ends up in the garbage because it is so bad is no bargain at all. Of what I had the DISpleasure of tasting, the roasted vegetables and the bite-sized roll were the ONLY edible things there. (See pictures.)It's a given that a tasting is where the catering company can showcase their absolute best and it's possible that because of the quantity needed for a large event, the quality may suffer at the actual wedding or event, at least a little. But if, starting out, they are this bad, why would anyone hire Heavenly Gourmet?The people that work there are nice and that's the ONLY reason I would have considered giving them a better star rating, but in the end, they just don't deliver the standards that any run-of-the-mill catering establishment should. Lastly, this establishment is in no way handicap accessible. It's a good thing my mother didn't end up coming with me because there would have been no way for her to climb the long, winding, stiflingly hot staircase above the Grady's Warehouse where Heavenly Gourmet is located.

I've never written a highly negative review before, but I want to warn others so they don't have to experience what we just did. We hired Heavenly Gourmet to cater our daughter's wedding because of how great the food was and how down-to-earth Loretta was when we first had a tasting. However, once we had committed to using them, everything went downhill. Each time we contacted them, they never had the right information about the menu we had chosen. They refused to answer the calls of our planner, so the bride had to call them to get questions answered (which is what we were paying for a planner to do). Trying to get the finalized contract out of them was a joke. They sent multiple versions and every one of them was incorrect. I can only assume incompetence since it was a very simple menu. As for the event, they served food that was good, and the food servers were friendly. That part alone would rate a couple more stars than I gave, although they were unprepared to serve our 250 guests quickly which made dinner take up a large part of the night. If I could give 5 negative stars, that is what I would give to the bartenders that Heavenly Gourmet provided. They knew how to hand out beer or pour wine, although they did not chill either the beer or white wine in time for the cocktail hour. They did not know how to follow the simple recipe we had written out for them for our signature Mojito cocktail. It is one of my husband's specialties and it was totally ruined by the bartenders. I tried to at least get them to add the lime written on the recipe, yet after telling them 3 separate times, they were still not adding it. Every other vendor we hired was amazing and the only sour note we had in the wedding experience was Heavenly Gourmet.

My company ordered the chicken sundried tomato bow tie pasta with grilled veggies medley, side salad, bread and delicious pastries. Everything was so delicious that I looked up the restaurant so we could go eat dinner there one day only to find that it's only catering. Yall, the pasta sauce was so savory I wanted to eat more but had to contain myself bc I was at work! Lol We've had other dishes from HG to cater at my work and everything has been delicious. We hired heavenly gourmet for our wedding and everyone loved the food. I still have people asking who we use for catering and how they made their food so good and hot! The prices were reasonably priced. I also loved the fact that they responded very quickly to anything I had questions about! I highly recommend them for any of your catering needs!

We hired Heavenly Gourmet for our wedding on 3/16/24 and it was an amazing experience all around! From the setup of the tasting to the actual wedding day, it was AMAZING! We went with the Heavenly stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and sauteed veggies, and we got so many compliments on it! That poblano cream sauce is to die for! They also gave us a military discount (husband is USMC), and they threw in a free mac and cheese bar as a late night snack if we booked within 72 hours. I called them a few weeks before our event and asked about appetizers because I hadn't figured out what to do for cocktail hour yet. They only charged for the actual appetizers, not extra fees for extra people or anything, and they were passed appetizers. They bring multiple people, so you don't have to worry about a thing. They helped with the cake cutting, they cleaned up plates and cups during and after dinner, and they even helped with venue clean up at the end of the night! This company goes above and beyond for their clients! I would 1000% recommend this company for your catering needs! They were easy to get a hold of whenever I needed anything, they were there on time, and stayed late!

From the very first phone call to the very last call it was top notch service!! Delivery of taste testing. Live zooming while taste testing Constant communication and suggestions. Many available and affordable options. Our daughters wedding was a huge success because of heavenly gourmet catering The guests are still raving about the food and how can we get recipes !!! The wedding was Dec 18 and people are still talking about the good food!! I definitely recommend heavenly gourmet for any event.
