3/5 This is a really cute cafe in San Antonio with lots of great seating options both indoor and outdoor - the outdoor seating area looks beautiful with lots of scenery around & the inside is much larger than it looks when you walk in. There's plenty of space to sit and get some work done or to bring a larger party! The service I received was amazing, staff was very friendly and helpful! I did the 1/2 combo with the tomato soup and a Bruschino panini. I was not a fan of what I got. I LOVE tomato soup but this one was really watery tasting but thick in texture - I couldn't eat it. The panini was okay but it wasn't anything that I would re-order. Overall the atmosphere and service were great, but I had to take off stars for the food. I would definitely try it again and get something else to see if it's better! They had a large menu so there's many different options to choose from which is nice, I just happened to get something that I thought I would like and didn't.

What a little hidden jewel! I went there for the first time yesterday, although I have passed it numerous times. Don't let the view from the road fool you. I couldn't believe what I have been missing for so long. It's such a cute spot with a view that you would think you're in the middle of the woods, the food was also very delicious. I tried to keep it light and healthy so I had the broccoli and cheddar soup with a wedge salad! It was amazing and for person that always need additional salt. I did not it was perfect. The bread was also on point. I think the only thing that was a little disappointing was the customer service, but the food out ranked it so I'll go back.

This place is worth a visit if only to get a cup of coffee and a baked item. It is in a beautiful setting and the breakfast i had was very good. It is self-serve, but they bring the food to you when It is ready. If I lived in the area, I would be a frequent visitor.

I went for the first time with my coworkers today and we all stared at the menu for so long because literally every single thing sounded so good! And it was! I got a spicy chicken wrap and my coworkers all got paninis and it was a 10 out of 10, everyone loved it. Excellent atmosphere and the best customer service too! I will definitely be going back :D

Panera who?? If you're looking for an unassuming, classic and casual cafe, this is your spot. I only exclusively get the Cranberry Balsamic Wrap - it's the best thing on their menu and I literally CRAVE IT. I get mine with extra balsamic dressing on the side. Do it, just trust me!

What a hidden gem! Driving up to this place you will def get a weird vibe ... BUT ... wait until you step into this place. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I mentioned it was my first time and right away recommendations of what to order were given. The food was amazing! I ordered a cup of Tomato Basil and a half Turkey Artichoke sandwich & both were phenomenal! I will def be back. The grill cheese caught my eye and will be the next thing I order

I really like the Hearthstone Bakery, but this visit showed they could make some improvements to both their menu and their services.I went to pick up an order for lunch, and I'll take some ownership of this but I left without some of the items.I had the turkey paninni with spinach artichoke spread. It was meh... I will say that the sweet tea was sweet but tea flavored, and not just sugar water. Their cookies were awesome, and when I went back to pick up whatever I had left on the first trip, the staff offered me a morning pastry to go.There staff is friendly, and attentive. I have enjoyed their other lunch time fare, and have been pretty impressed - the soups are delicious. Their wraps are both tasty and filling. I've been impressed by the firecracker wrap and the cranberry balsamic wrap. The flavor was far more notable than the spinach artichoke spread - again, meh.It's close enough that I will return, if only to try their breakfast or another awesome wrap.Finally - always, always, check your order before you leave the restaurant or drive thru.
