Happy Town Chinese

So I ordered from here from grubhub and I thought it was a good experience. I got the fried wonton and the lemon chicken. I loved the fried wontons but the lemon chicken was a bit dry. Still good, nonetheless. The food came before the promised time which was a big plus for me because I was starving. Can I also suggest putting the descriptions of your meals for all the food on grubhub? I only noticed it on the padthai's and other entrees but that's it. I'd like to know what comes with each dish. Nice job guys, I'll definitely order again!

Total disappointment. Slow delivery and frankly the food wasn't that good, hardly edible. If I could give less than one star I would.

I was skeptical of ordering from here. I found this Chinese delivery as the closest one to me. The chicken lettuce wraps, I'd say were 7/10 not too bad. We also ordered the General Tso chicken, it came w/rice & egg roll which was decent. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and it was horrible!! Tasted like a wet rag. After waiting for my water (they forgot to deliver the first time) I returned it to the delivery guy. Would I order again? Possibly, since the wraps were not so bad. Thai food was awful!

It's the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten don't eat there trust me it's not very good and not close to what you would expect when your craving Chinese food. There's huge veggies and very little of the dishes that you ordered.

We haven't had great luck with Chinese food in San Antonio in general, but this place was by far the worst we've tried. They left a flyer in our door so we thought we'd give them a chance. Delivery took almost 2 hours to arrive, the food was luke warm at best and everything was disgusting. Lo mien was soggy and sopping with sauce, chicken pieces were small and weird. The hot and sour soup was just broth, nothing even in it. We got the appetizer sampler and everything in it was soggy, gross and the pieces were all so small. Super small serving sizes for the price too. We were totally craving Chinese food and we are so disappointed. Worst $32 dollars we've spent and we will NEVER be back. The only thing they couldn't screw up where the fortune cookies. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

First time customers and wont be coming back. Order took 1 1/2 hours to deliver when we are close to the restaurant. Sadly food was warm. .at best. Lemon chicken was served without lemon sauce. Rice was flavorless. Curry chicken had egg shells served in the dish. I would suggest Lee's Kitchen instead if you are in the culebra area.

Our little family gets food delivered from here sometimes multiple times a month. We get the pad Thai and BBQ spare ribs. Grandma loves the ribs, and we can split the food into multiple appropriate portions, giving us more meals for the same price. The tofu cubes in the pad Thai are always crunchy and delicious.

First time ordering from this restaurant. We ordered the Triple Delight plate and found that the shrimp was spoiled. When we opened the box the smell of the food was awful. The rest of our order smelled of the shrimp and made it difficult to eat. I called the restaurant and requested a refund for at least the Triple Delight. Hopefully we see it soon. Very disappointed.

Staff was friendly. Food by far the worst thing I've eaten. Egg drop soup tasted like water down eggs. Rice had no flavor. Chicken didn't taste like real chicken. Portions were very small. Not worth the $15 I spent for my daughter and I. Give this place six months before it closes down. Will not be back

I downloaded the yelp app just to write this review. Instead of calling and complaining to the manager of this place...I decided to write this to try to convince anyone who is thinking about ordering food from this place...DON'T DO IT! Not only did I have to wait almost two hours for my food and deal with an employee keeping me on hold to "call the driver" and never coming back...but I met my delivery driver outside by my leasing office to where I saw...I'm assuming...her kids waiting in the car..and then hands me a bag with sweet and sour sauce spilled all over the place. Yes she apologized...but why even delivery it? Then....as my fiance and I proceed to eat the COLD food we just received ...we found that it was probably the most tasteless...poorly cooked Chinese take out we had ever eaten. My fiance actually threw hers out after two bites.Yes ....most Chinese places in San Antonio suck...but avoid this one at all costs.
