Han Garden Korean Restaurant

Bummer. We drove 35 minute to eat here and were told something like they only take reservations and only serve Asians. No where in any review did I read that you needed a reservation. Anyway, lucky for me, there are a lot of Korean restaurants around Ft Sam.

Good tasty Korean food. We got seated right away. Beef Bulgogi, Ganjang Gejang. Not too pricey

Everything was so on-point with Han that I don't even know where to begin gushing about it. I'll just pick somewhere...Mandu - perfectly crispy, right amount of filling, great dipping sauce, and TWICE the amount of dumplings that you get if you compared it to an order of, maybe, gyoza from any other place within a few miles (cough, cough, Tokyo Express, cough, cough...)Bibimbap - Generous amount of banchan, perfectly cooked rice, and everything seasoned to perfection, including the expertly cooked sunny-side-up egg on the dish. HOMEMADE GOCHUJANG,Y'ALL! We're not talking about the shit from the plastic tubs at the Asian Market. This is the real deal and DAMN it was good.Bulgogi - Paper thin, but not dry, and beautifully seasoned, obviously with a copious helping of their perfect rice.Kimchi Jigae - Rich, spicy, porky, tangy. Just pure happiness in my mouth. I don't know if this is only a "me" thing, but I consumed all the broth and tofu and, saved all the kimchi and pork for a later snack with a bowl of rice. Both applications were f*cking delicious.My wife and I got enough food to feed us both for 3-4 meals and it cost us $60. Given the quality of the food here, I don't think there's a better deal Korean food in the area. I will happily take challenges to that statement. ;-)

We were craving some good Korean food without having to go to an AYCE KBBQ. We found this small mom and pop shop right off the freeway. We were a little skeptical because of the prices (~$18 per dish) so we just got one pork and one beef bulgogi. And let me tell you, the portions and flavors were worth every single $$. I can't wait to go back and try their Galbi!

We had a great time at Han! We were surprised how good the meat taste and how easy the set up was! We will definitely be returning again soon! My soda was fizzy - the sauces for the meats were great! Even the Saki was amazing ! Loved it here - very clean atmosphere!

말이 필요없는 아구찜!! 남은소스가 자기전까지도 생각이 나네요.. 남은소스에 볶음밥해먹어야 제맛인데말이죠 사장님 요리솜씨가 너무 예술입니다 (특히 겉절이가...)

Great food, great people. Nice Always perfectly made . Meat is soft Rice is fresh. Don't miss out on this restaurant. Off Rittiman Rd.

Friendly staff, takeout only. Ordered the beef bulgogi, meet was a little past the well done side adding a little bit of a charcoal taste and chewy. Overall, food tasted good and came plenty of sides.

Don't go here. My wife and I came here for lunch, stood at door for about 5 minutes waiting to be seated. It's a small restaurant and of the 6-7 tables, all but 2 were seated and the empty ones were not cleared. An Asian employee came out and told us they were only seating Asians. Looking around we noticed we were the only non Asians there. This is the only time I know of where this has happened to us. Obviously, we will not return.

It is like many other reviews said : it is indeed a hole in the wall but a great hidden gem!! All dishes ordered were authentic like where they served in Seoul! Grandma is very friendly and a warm lady with lots of smiles. All dishes came out in tasty generous portions!! Han deserves 10 stars!'
