Gyro's Drive Inn

I walk in and I'm greeted by a young lady and I'm asked to sit down at the table that I like. I order two three piece fish dinner with double mashed potatoes. My food was amazing everything was fresh and delicious best fish I've tried in San Antonio Texas. The restaurant inside is clean so are the restrooms. I'd recommend anybody who's a fish lover to come and try.

This was my first time here. I saw an Instagram post with someone eating a crispy dog here and thought to try it. It hit the spot and reminded me of my childhood. I was pleasantly surprised. The fish also looked amazing. I did hear from people that live in the neighborhood that the fish is really good here so I will definitely be back to try. Love the fact that the waitress was super friendly and that the environment was extremely clean. They did get my food out quickly. I will definitely be back to try different items.

Fried Fish 10/10Fried Jalapeño Poppers 7/10Fried Mushrooms 7/10Egg roll 6/10I have been coming to Gyro's since I was a young. This place has been consistent ever since. I have not found any fried fillets like this anywhere around the country. The panko breading just adds the crunch I always look for in my fried foods! This is the best fried fish you will ever have! Try it fresh before ordering to go. I don't get people who complain about cold food and soggy food when they are getting food to go. Condensation will ruin a meal!Over the years we have experimented with all their other dishes and have not been disappointed.It's a small little place and they always have the TVs running.

Fast & Friendly service, the waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful on the menu. The food was fresh and homemade. This place had reasonable prices. The hush puppies and fried mushrooms were on point. I had the 6 jumbo shrimp plate, which was delicious. Denfinly going back

Love the fish burgers here. They are really tasty. I like the regular fish plate as well you get two sides and a drink with it. It remind me of frozen fried fish but tasty also

Great food and service. First off, they have crispy dogs, so that's a huge positive. First time having one and I need to have them more. The cheesy dog inside a tortilla is so simple, but it really hit the spot. Had it with some mustard. The chili cheeseburger and onion rings were also very tasty. The chili was good, the cheeseburger was good, and the toppings were good. Nothing fancy, but a burger that's worth going to Gyro's for. The onion rings were smoking hot and very crispy. Friendly, attentive service and the food didn't take long to come out. The place is very clean and inviting. Looks like I'll need to go back for more crispy dogs and to try more of the menu.

The service was great, the food was great! A overall great experience! I love those crispy dogs with mustard. Delicious.

Food was good but sat at window for a while before it was served . Only 1 waitress. Rwad mebu carefully, not all combinations come with drinks or salads. 100 % health inspection rating.
