I hadn't been back to this place since last I lived here and it was just as delicious. Friendly staff and good food. How can you go wrong! Variety of lunch options with big portions. I will be visiting again.

My favorite pizza in San Antonio. Real New York style pizza. The inside is cozy. They have old arcade games there by the soda fountain, last time I was there at least. I believe it was the Simpsons game and maybe another one idk. Back to the Pizza. AWESOME. They are a little pricey. The servers are nice and friendly. They use the yummy good ranch dressing as well. Not the 75 cent hidden valley half full containers. It's legit. Quaint place for a first date, or a date after years of love. GO EAT! YOURE HUNGRY!!

Goomba's is my go to for New York style pizza! The restaurant is located in a small shopping center and is a smaller location compared to the others in town. There's plenty of seating though. After walking in you'll head to the counter where you can place your order. While they do offer whole pizzas and other entrees, they also have lunch specials that offer plently of food. I tried the pizza lunch combo with a slice of pepperoni and Canadian bacon and a salad. The pizza slice is huge and filling! You could easily split the slice! The crust is what always gets me here, thin and crispy.

I ordered two large cheese pizzas for delivery. I asked for a square cut. The pizzas arrived cold and stale. The crust was hard and chew likened to the texture of old chewing gum. It wasn't in squares, and when I tried to pull a piece off, the entire pizza was stuck together. It was disgusting and inedible. Don't waste your money on this garbage. It's a crime that I'm forced to give any stars.

I went to the Goomba's Blanco location. We placed our orders and I ordered the Slice, Salad and drink special. When I went to get my drink I found that the diet drinks were "Out". Since I am diabetic this was distressing. The salad was a small serving in a small plastic container with what appeared to be bottled Italian dressing in a small cup - also a big disappointment. The pizza arrived with almost no tomato sauce and the toppings fell off, This is the worst pizza I have ever had !!! If I was not with a friend who was pressed for time I would have not eaten the food, insisted on a refund, and gone elsewhere. Had we not been pressed for time, we could have gone to Fredericksburg Road and gotten much better food for a lot less. This place is overpriced and not worth the money. You can choose much better.

Went about 12 days ago on Blanco Road. Hadn't been in a long time. The place is a lot smaller, but still nice and clean. Service was good, friendly. The 1 Star rating was because of their pizza. With big slices, my instinct is to fold it in half and eat it like that. When I took a bite, I smelled something like burnt plastic, I thought it might have been the vent. But I kept taking bites and turns out it is the crust underneath that had an unappetizing smell. Not sure how they bake it. It might be those new pizza cookers. Nevertheless, it was so disappointing because I really loved their pizza slices. I do not recommend this place anymore.
