Gong Cha SATX - Bandera

I was in desperate need of caffeine with no Starbucks in sight and stumbled upon Gong Cha! I ordered a black coffee with milk foam, but when I got to the counter, there was just a black coffee. The staff mentioned they were out of milk foam, so I changed my order to a milk coffee with tapioca balls. No one informed me beforehand that they were out of milk foam, which was a bit annoying. Despite this mishap, I'm grateful for this place. The coffee helped jolt some life back into me with its strong and delicious flavor.

The wintermelon milk tea with egg pudding I got was good, though a little too sweet even when I asked for less sweet. The service is quick and the interior is super spacious. Will return if in the area!

We came in for the Final Fantasy XIV stuff and were told this store did not get a shipment. And all stores are out of the keychains. So we called another store and were told that all stores off the 1604 did get a shipment. I can only assume that the employees are selling the codes and keychains on eBay and other methods of sales of these items.

The drink variety and quality are excellent. The interior of this chain is also very clean and interactive; maps on the wall. However it seems that the young employees cannot deal with any type of adversity. I recently visited a location on Bandera rd in San Antonio. The young lady helping told me she had no coins for change. I explained that I have the exact amount. She got upset and did not know how to calculate the change properly. She got an instant attitude and told me that it does not work this way. I explained about the coins and gave her the answer to the math. The employee got so worked up, she had to step out to cool off. They need better training at home. We will find another location to get our drinks

I always always get the strawberry milk tea with star jelly! Best boba out there. Even got some friends who don't like milk tea to become ADDICTED TO IT! I really like this location specifically for their employees! They recommend things if you're uncertain about what to get. We were going to order a milk coffee drink but remembered we hated it! The employee suggested the creme brûlée coffee, which they make with condensed milk-- it was essentially a Vietnamese coffee!! Super good and the only drink my partner likes there.The place is always clean. And for the holidays, they have a gorgeous HUGE tree!

We went to Gong Cha Bandera after lunch to redeem my birthday treat. I had the Mango Milk Tea and had $5 toward the drink. My husband had the Pina Colada with the cute pineapple container.Our first time to this location and it was all good. This location has an outdoor seating area but midday is right in the sunshine though. Maybe later in the day it might be shaded.

Waffles are awesome, bobas always a winner, and usually pretty dang clean! Service is also pretty consistently good! I love there's a wide variety for even a first timer to experiment

Was craving bubble tea so I stopped by here because it was nearby and it had pretty good reviews.The place is cozy and clean, with a shelf of boardgames for playing and tables for sitting.The customer service was nice! They were extremely patient with me as I was taking my order and looking through their menu, and made a great recommendation on what flavor milk tea to get.As for the boba, it was amazing! Not too gushy but also not any crunch - just perfect. The place was so relaxing. Their interior will fit for working while having your tea/frappe. The color tone is so neutral that good for the eyes. They have outside sitting, like spacious and for big group. The staff were nice and really accommodating, ensuring that they will have your order right. We ordered Pearl Milk Tea and Lemon Ai Yu White Pearl from their Creative Drink and avail their buy 1, take 1 promo. This is surely a good to go to Gong Cha place for us! It's a chain but I'm glad there's more boba shops popping up in San Antonio. Tons of options for tea and toppings!
