Golden Meals

I ordered delivery and loved the gyro and hummus with grilled chicken! The gyro could've used more sauce and veggies, but it had plenty of tender meat. The hummus had a strong tahini which I loved, and again, plenty of flavorful chicken.

Promising looking food cart, but sadly I got no food despite paying. I ordered on Uber eats and the staff marked my order as completed (fully charging my credit card). However when I arrived they told me they did not have my order or it was canceled. despite showing the staff my receipt, they refused to make my order without me paying for it again, and told me it would take a half hour.

My brother tried the chicken shawarma two days ago and really liked it. Today I wanted to try it so we ordered hummus, Mixed Tikka plate, and Gyro plate. The chicken and beef tikka were flavorful and tender. The rice and hummus were also really good.

Food was good. Service was fast as it could be. Customizable. Good portions. Would recommend.

Golden Meals??? When I first saw the trailer and the name I just thought it was another strange pop up food truck. I was WRONG. This little food trailer pumps out some of the best Mediterranean food in San Antonio. I've ordered from this place about five times now. I've tried multiple Mediterranean dishes and I've been surprised over and over with the food quality, flavors, portions, freshness of ingredients and service. I don't know how they do it. There are some places with a brick and mortar and that don't come close to the quality of Golden meals. The best part? The guys who run this little place are so nice. Very efficient. They give you a direct response and true wait times. Yes, you will have to wait. Usually about 15-20min depending on what you order and how many orders they have pending. But you can believe them when they give you a wait time and you can believe ME when I say it's worth the wait. Cheers!

I give this place 1 star because the food is good but that's where the positive things end. This is a food truck. I've only eaten here twice and each time the service has sucked so bad. You walk up and they just look at you. No greeting or anything. Order your food and then wait in the sun. Ordered pick up this time and food was not done even though the app said it was ready to pick up. The guy didn't seem to care that it wasn't ready when it clearly said it was. Didn't offer an apology or anything. I got mad and yes, now Im writing this review as I wait for food that should have been done already. Don't waste your time here, there are better places who actually care about their customers.

Delicious food and great service. This food truck is parked right next to the Texaco on broadway. The falafel was crispy with lots of flavor and texture. I was also pleased with how many the plate comes with. Its definitely enough to share! The rice was warm, soft and an excellent compliment to the falafel. The salad was fresh as well. The tzatziki was fresh and was a great dip for the falafel. Cant wait to come back and either get this again or try something new! They are also open until midnight or 1am some nights so its a great option for fresh and delicious late night food.

Amazing late night option for vegans- I love gyro wraps falafel plates dolmas and hummus!

Charged me for two wraps but only gave one.... Make sure to check your bag before leaving

This food truck is an oasis in the middle of what I consider a food desert. It's probably the best food in the area (up there with the more formal Cappycino's). I've really only tried their falafel, hummus, and fries, but they are delicious.
