Golden Lotus Thai Food

Was looking for vegan food while visiting Boerne (Main St. didn't have a lot of options) and was so glad to have found Golden Lotus Thai Food! All the noodle and rice dishes as well as the panang curry can be modified to be vegan. I got the veggie spring rolls and woonsen glass noodle dish and both were really yummy! The rolls were a little smaller than I thought but crispy with a tasty dipping sauce and the noodles had a good amount of veggies in there, well seasoned, and the portion was generous. Service was great!The truck is located in Point Park with other food trucks. I went on a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of parking and seating. Dogs are allowed here (leashed, well behaved) and I appreciate the park had clear signs about it. The area was clean and colorful--a cute place to stop for vegan food with your pup!

My husband and I were in the area and wanted to try something new and different. We saw Golden Lotus at The Point food truck park and saw they had good reviews so we gave them a try. Everything was super hot, fresh and delicious! We really love the veggie rolls! We got the fried rice with shrimp, and the medium spice level, which to be honest with you was extremely hot, I would probably go with the mild next time just to not have a runny nose while I'm eating. They are definitely not stingy with the shrimp either, our rice was super full of shrimp, so you definitely get what you pay for.The guy was really friendly and was knowledgeable of the menu and how things could be prepared. My husband cannot eat pork, and wanted to make sure nothing was prepared on a shared surface, and the guy made sure that everything was good to go. Their truck is located near a little wooden deck with some small round tables, but there is plenty of other seating options if you have a larger party or want to be in the shade.

Pretty much anything I've ordered here has been great. They're very accommodating. Even added options to their on-line ordering based on requests we've suggested. Food is fresh tasting & tastes great. This is our go-to Asian option in San Antonio.

Food was decent at pointe park, but the beef was a little on the "tough" side vs tender. Since out was a food truck park, service was basic (order, take a buzzer, grab food). Ambiance was outdoor with a DJ. Again, this is point park food truck area, not a restaurant. Decent food, nice outing.

Hands down, BEST Thai food I've ever had! This has been our Thai place for years. The chef is incredibly skilled and prices are fair. This place is a jem.We got chicken pad Thai, panang curry and Thai basil fried rice.They make accomodations to people with allergies! Chef is very knowledgeable about food allergies. I'm vegan and husband isn't. I'm very allergic to meat, eggs and dairy and I've been amazed by the way they can accommodate for me while keeping such an amazing flavor.

You may not think highly of food trucks or maybe even food parks. However Golden Lotus Thai Food delivers in authenticity, savory delicious flavors, service and most definitely quality. Pictures are true to what is in your plates and to-go boxes. I've heard from the coffee shop the owner is here late and very early to ensure quality food and freshness. New hours so if you're in the area stop by for lunch and grab a coffee. There is room to eat in their indoor area. Night time is lively and there's a bar in the food park. Tried their pad woonsen, I've had it very spicy and with no spicy and it didn't disappoint. Rich in flavors and fresh vegetables and noodles. Made to order as always... Thom yum was so rich in ingredients and not watered down like some soups I've tried at other places. Flavors just explode in your mouth. This is the Mexican version of pozole or menudo. Will be trying pad Thai later this evening. Quantity quality and great service is taken seriously here.

Best Thai food hands down. Not a lot of choices but what they have, they do very well in deed! Can't find a better pork belly dish! It is all just yummie!Husband and I enjoy their food! Their food is great and good quality! Service is quick and on time, every time!

Love this place!! We love the Phad sew ew, woosen, and fried rice. Dumplings weren't anything special but the main dishes were awesome! Definitely going back!

Great service, locally-owned, delicious Thai food. Weekly guilty pleasure. Food truck located at The Point Park in San Antonio. A must try for food truck and Thai food enthusiasts.

Love this place! The beef Pad Thai with vegetables is delicious and our go-to, but the entire menu is excellent. Staff is very friendly and accommodating with special requests.
