Godori is the definition of AMAZING. Tried the spicy pork, chicken fried rice, beef stir fried noodles, and the Ella Roll. EVERYTHING was on point. Definitely will be coming back!

This place was previously called something else. We were nervous about the change but it seemed to be a good thing; at first. It has now been Godori for quite some time and while the service from individual waiters/waitresses has been great, management has taken a stance on seating that is not very friendly towards small parties and is ultimately the reason we have opted not to go back. Near their sushi bar is a seating area with tables and bench seating. It is away from the hibachi tables which is why my husband and I like to sit in that area. We have been seated many times by the hibachi tables and end up having to leave faster than we would normally because of the smoke and noise that is generated from the hibachi tables. I'm not talking about the noise from the parties that sit at the tables. I'm talking about the fans that they turn on to keep the rest of the restaurant from getting smoky because of the tables. They also don't seem to work great because the restaurant has still gotten smoky which in turn aggravates my asthma. Which is why we like sitting as far away from the hibachi tables as we can.The last two times we have gone management has given us a hard time to sit us in the section away from the hibachi tables stating that the area is strictly for large parties that do not want to have the hibachi experience. The restaurant could easily put regular tables in the other part of the dining room together to accommodate a larger party. So we decided to honor the restaurant and just go someplace else to get our sushi fix. The food isn't terrible it's just the management that needs work (or at least a better excuse for why a party of 2 can't sit in the area)

We came here to celebrate a birthday and everything was just perfect. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The gentleman who cooked our teppanyaki was so funny and entertaining. The food was all really good and it was so much that we all have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

FIRST TIME VISITThe space used to be Hon Machi restaurant. Thai place has taken over and thank goodness! Space is a lot cleaner and the Korean options are a nice addition to the Japanese menu. I particularly came in to sample something Korean. My son and I both ordered the Bibimbap. A beautiful, large ceramic bowl arrives with a matching lid. Not sure what the purpose of that is, but we remove these kids and place them to the side. Steamed rice, assorted cooked veggies l, marinated bulgogi beef pieces and a fried egg on top! We also got hot sauce, Kim chee and cucumber kim chee style. My son and I both agree that the star of the dish was def the mushrooms. Insanely good! My only grumbling would be of the bulgogi. Didn't seem very marinated and flavorful, pieces were too big to enjoy without having to tear chunks off at a time, and the meat was too thick. Bulgogi should be thinner. Would've fixed all the issues I listed above. If you're worried about it not being able to satisfy your large appetite, believe me, you likely will not finish this! Overall, I would def order it again. The Gyoza appetizer came hot with a delicious dipping sauce. Would order this again!Our service was impeccable. I'm not easy to impress, but this team was on their A-game this past Saturday night. Thank you to the servers, especially our server Donnie and the handsome kid from Japan. Excellent way to spend my time and money, honestly. Keep up the good work!

I've lost count the many times I've been here but as always everything is delicious with freshly made food. Gotta have them tunes along with a very Informative/Great waiter by the name of Donnie! The chief even cooked a newly inspired salmon which wasn't on the menu YET!! But what I can say about that dish along with everything else is "BEYOND amazing!!" Will always come back and will always recommend to my close pals!

This was my 2nd time here after Hon Machi closed here, as I gave this place a 2nd chance. Our waiter was a younger man and was very nice. The food came out at a good time as well. Issue about the service was that maybe it was the manager or something but the guy was there behind the bar staring at us as we are sitting in the front trying to enjoy ourselves. We asked if he needed anything and just kept staring I dont know why. The sushi selection was very minimal and tasted subpar. The salmon Roe might've been homemade instead of real salmon roe. Tuna tartar was very salty and tasted funny. Atmosphere was very weird and didn't feel comfortable. What almost ran us out of there in the very beginning was my wife reading the menu as they were picking them to see what else we could order and just picks it up right in front of her and told her she can look at the menu online, very rude! Not recommended and won't be back.
