The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because our server was great. I decided to try the mushroom Swiss burger and onion rings as a recommendation from our waitress. First of all the bun is too big. I felt like I was eating bread instead of the meat. The meat had absolutely no taste. Then I tried the onion rings. I asked the waitress beforehand if they were frozen or battered in houhouse. She told me yes. When they arrived the were very hot like they just came out if the frier. But the bad part is they tasted soggy. I don't understand how they could have just come out but wewere very soggy. They tasted like they had freezer burn. The place is nice with many tvs but if only the food tasted good it would make it better. Definitely don't recommend

Came here for dinner and karaoke. We ordered chips and queso, which came out quick, and it was tasty. Next, we ordered burgers for dinner. I had a classic cheese burger with onion rings. The burger was good. It was served on a sweet bun with cheese, lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes. I added some mustard because I love a burger with mustard. The bun was a bit too big for the patty, so I tore off what was too big. I didn't care for the onion rings. They were too salty and looked like they were left too long in the fryer. My husband had the Gibby burger, which had a fried egg. He said it was better than a cafeteria burger, but not better than a whataburger. Overall, it was an ok experience. Our server was attentive, and the restaurant is cute inside. We sat on the patio for karaoke, and the patio was nice. If we ever can back, I think we'd eat elsewhere and just have drinks and karaoke.

Disappointing. The service I got was good, but I was told 15 minutes and that was damn near 40 minutes. The food was packaged very securely, but the food itself the taste was not it. I don't know why San Antonio can't make a freakin pizza but once again undercooked, barely melted cheese and was cut un proportionally. The interior looks nice and way bigger inside, but it's empty and for good reason.

The vibe at the bar was it. I'm not sure I'd want to sit in the dining room. Wings were good, great Monday special. Pizza was ok. Drink was super strong, but the game was on & Ernest provided awesome service. Not bad for a Monday night at the bar too.

Went last Thursday with my girlfriend and we always get a beer and the barbacoa nachos. We usually like sitting on the patio with nice weather. Hadn't been there in a few months and apparently never on a Thursday which is karaoke night. Unfortunately the nachos like most things have gone up in price. However the amount of meat was probably not enough to make a small taco from a full tray of nachos. Also the chips seemed to be store bought and from the bottom of the bag since no whole chips under toppings. The staff as usual was friendly and attentive but the karaoke kept us from having a second beer. Only 4 people cycling through the songs and one was a very committed heavy metal teenager screaming Metallica songs. The DJ shredding a guitar with no strings added to the cringe inducing entertainment. Will probably give them another shot since everyone has off days but will make sure it's not karaoke night! lol

I was happy to see that it was open again. I really liked the place and the food we had in the past and were looking forward to trying other ítems on the menu. Unfortunately they seem to be having problems getting their routine down. There is a sign asking customers to wait to be seated. We stood there and nobody acknowledged us even though they saw us. Eventually we just sat down at an empty booth and were ignored until the server told our server to wait on us. The kitchen was preparing the fried items first and letting them sit on the counter with no heat lamp until the rest of the order was complete. I timed a basket sit for 10 minutes before it was picked up. They had only two servers working and it appeared they did not work as a team. They would pass the food on the counter and would not pick it up unless it was their order. The kitchen workers when they no orders just joked and ate in the kitchen but did not carry any of the food out either. This is only my observation while sitting there waiting for service it might have just been an off night.We ordered the loaded pizza and it was good except for the crust. It was a tasteless, precooked and cracker like that ruined the flavor of the good and fresh toppings. Also they gave us boats to eat the pizza out of instead of plates. I found that strange. In spite of these glitches we will return but will wait a while and let them get their system straight, hire more servers, and get an adult trained cook in the kitchen.

Went to Gibby's last night with the girlfriend we enjoyed it the drinks were legit we had a 16" pizza that absolutely hit the spot definitely coming back to catch a game perfect spot to root on your favorite sports team

The service is great! Very affordable for the price and good variety. Live music Friday and Saturday Sunday funday of course.

We usually love Gibbys, but today was a bad experience. Honestly probably bad enough to stop going. Our food was up waiting for over 10 minutes for the rest of the food to be ready then they brought our food and it was not as ordered. We sent the food back and it sat at the counter and the waitress brought it right back to us with no changes made. We sent it back again. It took another 10 minutes for them to remake the kids' food while we, the parents, waited to eat with the kids. Our fries and pizza were cold and we still paid full price. $100 for the meal.They must get a lot of complaints because they took the time and money to update their menus to read: "Absolutely not refunds whatsoever. No exceptions." Go somewhere else or save your money.
