Garlic Bulgogi

Part of 11..That's right walked with a party of 11 on Saturday at 6 pm. Was this a problem? Nope. Service was excellent from start to finish. I'm patient with people who do their best at trying to speak or whom try to understand. So the waitress wanted to be sure she had our orders right and I can appreciate her due diligence.The atmosphere was chill, with subtle music in the background. I like that this place offers a big dinner portion or smaller meal portion. Most of us opted for the smaller meal size which averaged about $13.00 dollars per plate. It still comes with rice and the smaller meal size plates with kimchi etc. This was a great relaxing place to enjoy a budget friendly Korean meal. I'll be back!

The service here was great! Everyone was very attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. The area was clean and the decor was fitting. I ordered the chicken bulgogi dish, but the smaller portion. The flavor of the chicken was lacking and the kimchi looked and tasted old. The menu has a nice variety so it's possible their specialty is one of the other dishes, but I did not particularly enjoy mine. Three stars for service and price point!

First of all, the food is very good and great price! But the people that run this restaurant are stellar! I normally don't care too much about the service (unless it's REALLY bad), so I usually don't spend too much time in my reviews on them, but i HAVE to make an exception here:We have had the same server the 2 times we went, a young man, he is so good, he remembered us from the first visit some weeks before and what we ordered! I was pretty impressed by that and he gave us tips and was very helpful and overall great!The owner is a very nice lady, she checks on you and if something can't be done she'll come by and explain personally why and will also spend some time to get to know her customers.It's so rare to be in a restaurant where you genuinely feel both the server and owner want to make time for you and make sure you are taken care of, in fact, it might be a first for me that 100% of the staff are calm, not rushing you, not pushing you.. i am very impressed on how you actually feel like you are the only customer because of the attention both owner and waiter pay to you. Food is great, price is great, and the service is even better!

In the area for business and found this place. Located in strip center behind Arby's off Bandera. Small, clean restaurant and good service. Food had great flavor. Ordered the spicy beef bulgogi dinner, which came with white rice and several sides. Nephew ordered the spicy chicken bulgogi regular plate (smaller portion from dinner). Meal started with a miso soup. All drinks are in bottles, only refillable drink is water. Will definitely be back to try other dishes like the ramen items.

Ordered the short ribs and they were phenomenal. Wasn't too interested in all the side dishes except for the kimchi. Service was great, I'll most likely go back and try other dishes.

We got so excited when we heard they've opened!! They used to be Bowl and Box at another location along Bandera before, and we would go there almost every week. The people are there are just awesome and they always ALWAYS make our toddler feel comfortable. The menu is about the same as Bowl and Box, but in BIGGER portions. The food is excellent, as usual! Their regular bulgogi was one of my favorite dishes during my second pregnancy. My husband loves their Katsu.. The sides are just amazing, and I could probably get full just by the sides alone! I love that the space is bigger, so they can accommodate more people. We plan to bring more people there. I can't recommend this place enough!!

Food was great, service was pretty good and the restaurant was quiet overall. I don't want to hold the pricing and portion size against the restaurant too much because some of those things are out of their control if they wanna make a profit but I felt a little cheated on the amount I paid for the amount of bulgogi I received. If the portions had been better I'd give them a 5 star no doubt

I came in just to have some chow for the evening and decided on the Spicy Pork Bulgogi. It came with steamed rice and eight or nine small side dishes of banchan (kimchi, gakdoogie, sprouts and variety of others). I was absolutely blown away with the robust flavor, perfect level of spice and the quantity of food that I got for $15. It was so delicious, I got two additional orders to go for the road. If you love Korean chow, you have got to try Garlic Bulgogi. You'll be glad you did!
