Fruteria La Tropicana

Everything about this place is great. I took my daughter here for here birthday. Fruit is fresh, the snacks are creative and fun.... Most importantly DELICIOUS! The store is bright and cheerful. The employees are friendly and kind. Everything is priced appropriately. We will be coming back often.

We were on this side of San Antonio, we had our grandchildren and told them we would take them for ice cream. Place is in a shopping center. Plenty of parking. Plenty to choose from, snacks and ice cream. Funnel cakes, aquas frescas, piñatas. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Casual kinda place, great place to get out of the heat. Andrew had the Oreo shake, this thing came with an ice cream sandwich on top, two Oreo cookies and topped with whipped cream. Desi had a plain funnel cake, I'm glad she did, I wanted to taste the funnel cake and not all the toppings. Next time we will get toppings, the funnel cake was done perfectly. Maria, Desi, and I had a mangonada, yummy. There are plenty of other things to try here. Plenty to choose from.

Clean, fast service and lots of choices that makes it hard to decide what to drink and snack on. Spacious and just hope they would always keep it organized and orderly. Kids of all ages would surely enjoy each single visit here.

Family in town wanted dessert so we tried this place. Funnel cake with fresh fruit and ice cream was perfect! The paleta variety is great with some unusual flavors. The Fruit cups and churro split were some of the favorites. Their pricing and quality were better than a lot of their competitors. Service was very good and location clean.

Cute and clean place to grab a sweet treat. So many options it was hard to choose. The strawberries and cream was good. Small size was 8. Decent amount of strawberries not just cream!

OM....GGGGGG, This place is off the charts! Snacks of every kind, Fresh fruit cups, ice cream, candy, palletas, I could go on and on! Don't sleep on the conchitas, agua frescas, and mangonadas!! It was so good, we didn't even pause to take pictures

We love this place. The servers always answer our questions and adapt things to any fun requests: add coconut ice cream to a mangonada parfait with Tajin and chamoy candies ... yes! We always get the hot Cheetos preparados, which I sometimes crave: hot Cheetos, cheese sauce, crema, queso fresca, hot sauce, and pick your corn (yellow or white). Sundaes, shakes, takilocos, fruit cups ... it's all here and crazy good.

I went all out and ordered a "crazy watermelon" and I was left in a food coma! This place has some fun Mexican snacks. I really like the paletas. The crazy watermelon was really loaded and it's fun to get if you are in a big group! Mg only complaint is that you can tell the watermelon they used had been previously frozen and didn't taste fresh.

This place HAS. IT. ALL! If you're looking for a spot that has all the snacks, this is it! It's impeccably clean with a fun vibe. The people are friendly, service is fast, and the treats are delicious! I had the mangonada and took some elote home. When you go, bring some friends and/or family with you. It'll make the experience a whole lot better!
