Wanted to try this spot out - Thanks Yelp! No regrets!Line moved fast and fruit is fresh. They give options to have salt, lime, chili powder or not have. I figure to get one cup with and one without salt. Large portions: 2 cups = $17 total. Next time I'll try their elotes. Yes. There will be a next time.

Fast service, fresh fruit, and super cheap.While visiting the San Antonio Missions National Historic Park, if you're in the mood for a fruity or refreshing snack, you should stop by this fruteria.The kids wanted a snowcone/raspa and ice cream. This place had that and then some. If you wanted paletas, they have them. If you wanted helote/corn on a stick, they have you covered. The fruit cups (really fruit towers) were impressive and overflowing. I just stuck with a mangonada with chamoy and tajin AND a agua fresca limonada. So, my daughter was thinking an chocolate ice cream in a cup, but when they told her they had cookies and cream, she quickly traded. What she got was a tall cup with two huge scoops of cookies and cream ice cream. She was sooooo excited. My son wanted a raspa, he was thinking blueberry, but the only blue they had was chicle (bubble gum) and coconut. He went with the bubble gum. He got a 8" tall cup of double syrup'd snow cone. My mangonada looked delicious. It came loaded with chamoy, tajin, and a tamarindo stick. My son, wished he would have ordered it, so we traded off an on.The limonada was tall. I saved it for later. The whole lot of it totaled up to a whopping $12. Wow.Everything tasted great, the service was quick and the outdoor seating was available.We haven't finished our touring of the SA Missions, and yes, we will be back.

A perfect stop on a hot day. They have snow cones, fruit juice, smoothies, popsicles, and more. Their large watermelon juice is only $2! Only inconvenience is the cashiers can't speak English at all, they only know Spanish. I would not sit down and eat here cuz the surrounding area is kind of ghetto and run down, but I'd recommend this shop for a quick frozen fix to cool down.

I have been coming to this place off and on for years, today I was taking back by general disorder. The line for the drive thru was out to the street, the parking lot was chaos, cars parked in random spots blocking other vehicles. I went with my elder Dad and he needed to use the restroom, we asked (3) different employees and they all gave us unclear answers and my Dad was not able to use their facility. I should have walked away but we proceeded to order two large fruit cups, and wow. The pineapple pieces about knocked my teeth out, they are serving the CORE of the pineapple, cut in chunks to make them look like regular pineapple, not cool. And not to mention the strawberries in my cup were mostly bad, spoiled. This place is convenient in my neighborhood but I choose to take my business elsewhere going forward. I gave them 2 stars because the young man that took the order was courteous.

This is definitely one of my favorite fruterias in town. First off, they have a drive-thru. Convenient, healthful food is hard to come by most days, but Fruteria la Mission takes care of me in that regard. I usually order their large fruit cup--the term "large" being an understatement by the way. This thing is massive--a two-story home of a fruit cup. It's dressed with chile and lime, giving you sweetness, heat, and acid with each bite. The quality of the fruit is excellent too. There's a good variety of fruits and textures going on in each cup, ranging from watermelon to mango, cucumber to coconut, and so on. It's soooo good! I crave this place all the time, but especially during the warmer months. The drive-thru is efficient. This place is usually bumping when we go, and we never have to wait in line for a crazy amount of time. The staff is friendly, making this happy experience all the better.If you're out visiting the missions one of these days, remember to swing by Fruteria la Mission afterward. You'll love it.

We drove all the way across town to try this place out. There was a crazy long line and we almost left. But it moved very fast. The fruit, corn in a cup and aqua frescas were amazing! And a great price for the size.

This was my first time here and it was great! They serve a lot ! But it was so worth it ! Well worth the money, Which wasn't expensive at all. There was a line but service was fast! The gentleman helping us was very good at remembering our order and knowing the prices and was super funny ! Great customer service! Watermelon was very juicy and full of flavor. Cheetos were crunchy and cheese was delicious! I definitely recommend this place if your wanting a fruit cup or a delicious snack!
