Stopped here for a pre-dinner snack after one of Noah's soccer games at City Park.It's slightly northwest of the town, and sober didn't find a huge crowd there. As we pulled up, I noticed they also have a drive thru for those in the mood for bbq on the go.There is inside and outside seating available. The day was great for outside dining, but Noah picked a bench on the inside. The indoors is decorated with Texas Ranger history and stories, longhorn skull, and snake skins...rustic ranch style.Noah settled for a sausage sandwich kids meal. It comes with one side. He went with the cream of corn. Noah had no issues with the sausage sandwich, but was less than impressed with the corn. He wanted something else mid bite.I ordered the loaded baked potato. The potato comes loaded with diced onions, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, chives, all under a heap of chopped beef. One, it's a lot of spud. Was it good, hmmmm...maybe not, but you won't go hungry. I am not a fan of chopped beef - it's the sauce. I think if it were just the chopped brisket, it would have tasted better.Service was fine. We were greeted and helped with our order. Fritze's also doesn't have beer. So, I settled for a sweet tea. They also have a fountain drink machine. Noah got a Big Red. I don't see myself coming back, but I would recommend something other than the baked potato or the corn.

Such great service right up to closing time! They have wonderful specials for family meals and participate in so many community events. We got a gift card from boerne radio and checked them out! So glad we did!

I came back to Texas for a quick vacation. I had moved away 30 years ago. Having grown up in Texas, I had to eat some BBQ while visiting. The BBQ at Fritze's was outstanding. Additionally, the staff was very warm and friendly. This is a must stop if you are hungry for some good BBQ in Boerne.

The food was excellent and the dill slaw some of the best I have had in a super long time! The drive up window makes it convenient to get something for supper after a long day and you don't feel like going in!

This is a really authentic BBQ. All your favorites. The sides are really good with some unique items. Super nice people, could have hung out all day and stared at the wall. Seriously just really felt right at home. Don't feel that way about a lot of places anymore.

Good lemonade, everything else seems average for a bbq joint, not bad , not great, staff are usually very friendly with the dogs at the drive thu Prime rib is notable

The food is always good! I love that they have it to go!The staff is amazing! I use a cane and they are one step ahead of me to make eating inside comfortable!

I definitely won't go back. I read great reviews, so expected excellent food.Ordered pinto beans, got green beans. The potato salad was okay. The prime rib was truly nasty; full of fat, and tough (should have ordered chopped BBQ, I guess). I'm sure the BBQ beans would have been great, but they decided to give me green beans...with BBQ. I know I look like a whiner compared to all the rave reviews. But boy howdy, what a waste of $20.

decided to try out this joint and the place was cozy and felt homey. food was hot and fresh and it was supper good! even ordered a sandwich to go and price was pretty good too i definitely recommend this spot!
