Start off by saying this review is of their food truck. The guys there were friendly and super helpful. We just happened to pass by as they were setting up and decided to give them a shot.Wife and daughter had their grilled chicken sandwich with provolone, wife added bacon.I tried their brisket street tacos fully loaded.Food was great (not enough tacos - I should have asked for 4 - comes with 3)They had tea and lemonade (complimentary?) wife got a Diet Coke and didn't see that on the receipt (mistake or drinks part of the meals?) Either way, we were very pleased with the food and service. If you see the truck, give em a try.

I chose Fresh Horizons for our business lunch because of the reviews from other yelpers and the food DID taste fabulous. They were very accomodating (I kept having to switch numbers on them) and they were even able to throw together a last minute vegetarian meal for an employee. They were on time and set up everything for me so I didn't have to worry about a thing. My only gripe was that the King Ranch Chicken Casserole had lots of bones and gristle and several employees commented on this - I can just imagine what would have happened if we had an important client choke on a bone... I emailed the representative I had ordered through, but I have yet to receive any comment. I will probably use them again, but I won't be ordering anything with chicken!

Had them cater my husband's promotion and received a verbal quote upfront for 30 people. Asked for the written invoice seven times, a week prior and never got it. But, I was verbally assured for their staunch support of the military. The afternoon prior to the event, I finally received a written invoice, shockingly $170 above the initial quote to which I was unable to choose another vendor. (I was boxed in, since my family and I flew in from the east coast for the event). The quality of the platters was what you would find at your local grocery--basic and bland. The bread was very stale. I'm not sure what their in-house service is like. But, I won't do business with them again...nor would I recommend.

Fresh Horizons catered my wedding at the end of May 2016, but I signed a contract with them in August of 2015. The coordinator I dealt with initially was fabulous and made me feel like a valued client, but when I called to speak with her a couple of months before the wedding I was shocked to find out that she no longer worked with the company. This was the first sign of the bad customer service: why didn't I receive a call letting me know that my coordinator had left, allowing me some time get up to speed with another? I was automatically assigned another coordinator who was slow at returning calls and emails and never even offered to talk to me about what I envisioned for my wedding or seemed to be interested in the least. He just went off the lines of the contract, which isn't very personalized for a wedding caterer. After speaking with my wedding planners, I found out that the catering coordinator which I was assigned had done a not so great job at the last couple of weddings they had planned where Fresh Horizons handled the catering. From forgetting champagne glasses to putting an ingredient in a side dish that the bride was allergic to, I started to get nervous. Sure enough, I had a reason to really get nervous when Fresh Horizons let me know about a month before the wedding that they could not serve the alcohol at my wedding venue due to a TABC licensing issue. How did they not tell me this earlier?! They knew my venue back when I signed the contract with them - and alcohol was in the contract!!! After some back and forth with the venue and external bartending companies, I was able to figure out and finalize contracts for that mess about a week before the wedding. Talk about stressful! We let Fresh Horizons know the final headcount 10 days before the wedding, which was stated in the contract. And then we waited and waited for an updated contract because payment was due at this time as well. We finally received an updated contract 6 days before the wedding for an OUTRAGEOUS amount. (They claimed it took so long to update because of numerous emails from us - but what company isn't able to track changes efficiently through email?) Our initial contract included 75 meals with unlimited beer and wine, chairs, place settings, tables and chairs for the cocktail hour, etc. for a reasonable price. After adding 18 meals (@ $26.95 per person), 10 chairs and place settings, and REMOVING ALL alcohol (which was priced at over $1200 in the original contract) as well as the cocktail hour furniture... the price went UP. I was outraged. I tried itemizing and adding everything up, but there were too many question marks when it came to the pricing. We sat down and had a meeting with the owner, Caryn, a few days before the event and were very upset with the way she handled the whole situation. The only itemization in the whole contract she was able to give us was the price per plate of food, and we were able to add that up and realize that we were overcharged by $200 for that portion of the contract. And throughout in all of the dealings about alcohol, we had purchased sodas and water for the bar service, but it still happened to be in the contract with Fresh Horizons. When we asked her if she would remove it because we were already providing it she told us she would remove a whole dollar. YUP, the owner of the company told us that -- we were APPALLED. So we let them handle hauling all of that there and kept what we had already bought. All in all, dealing with them was a horrible ordeal and I wouldn't wish the experience on anybody. Especially a bride who doesn't need any more stress in her life. If your catering company doesn't itemize everything on the contract, be wary. My assumption is that they were planning on making a certain amount of money off of my contract, and when they realized they could no longer serve the alcohol (which was their fault to begin with), they upped the pricing on everything else to make up for what they lost. The food and service ended up good, but if you want a pleasant experience I would look elsewhere.

I can not comment on their quality of food, but can comment on the customer service. My event has a small budget, but also has a small expectation for what I get. I call them twice without a call back. I was just looking for a quote or a call saying they were not interested. When, got a call back from Kathy, she told me my $1500 would be eating up with just one 5 hours attendant, paper plates, and plasticware, No Food! If you are looking for cater to be able to work with a small or tight budgets, I would look else where.

Fresh Horizons provided the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a caterer, hotel, restaurant - any food and beverage service ever!!!!! They arrive at my house for a holiday event three hours early with frozen food to reheat, no serving dishes, the wrong entrees, etc. It was awful. I instantly called their office but to this day - 10 months later - have not received a call back. For my hors d' oeuvre buffet I had an entire burned turkey to carve. Instead of a dip I had soup. No bread. No crackers. No serving dishes (yes, I paid for serving trays to be picked up after). It goes on and on! Paul and John, the FH employees who came to set up were as horrified as I was. Nightmare!!!!! Do not use them ever.

If I could give one star I would. They catered for my friends wedding at Gallagher Ranch. The food was awful, not enough food, cold and poorly executed. They stopped serving drinks before they were supposed to and then tried to charge the guests cash!

I was shocked that the food was so awful, there was not enough, and the service was abysmal at a wedding I attended recently. Heartbroken for the beautiful bride, who believed a review in Knot. Should have checked yelp. How could anyone hire this company?

Not sure why my very honest review disappeared from Yelp as did others for the same event but re-posting in the belief that honest reviews are allowed and encouraged. From 11/18/17. Disappeared after a week. THIS COMPANY DOESN'T DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS. They catered the food and bar for my daughter's wedding and we were totally misled. I wish we had read the YELP reviews and not the FaceBook reviews that they apparently edit to look good (just noticed that they removed my comment as well as their photos of the wedding venue and whole review section after my post). Not only did they not do as they said they would "we will not run out of food or drink" but the food they did serve was meager, inedible and poorly presented. The bar staff stopped serving about an hour before the agreed 'last call' and attempted to get guests to pay for the drinks on the open bar. The sales manager hung up on me when I tried to discuss the problems and I am still waiting for a call back from the owner that was promised. After paying the bill in full we were informed by email 5 days before the wedding that there was a computer problem and the bill would need to be adjusted. A bill for an extra $6,466 was sent on November 15th, three weeks after the wedding with a poorly written email threat that it had to be paid in 5 days or we would be taken to court! One line item had increased 118% and another 121%! I can't believe they are still in business.
