Formosa Garden is my go-to spot when I'm craving flavorful dishes and standout cocktails. Their Pad Thai is a must-try--sweet, tangy, and absolutely packed with protein. It's loaded with chicken, shrimp, and fried tofu, along with scallions, bean sprouts, and eggs, all tossed in a delicious Thai specialty sauce and topped with freshly ground peanuts. The portion is generous enough to share, though I usually keep it all to myself because it's just that good! When it comes to drinks, the cucumber martini steals the show. It's refreshing, perfectly balanced, and has just the right amount of kick to make it memorable. It's easily one of my favorite cocktails in town. The restaurant has an old-school casual vibe that feels warm and welcoming. Their service is always prompt, whether it's seating, taking orders, or getting food to the table. I'd also recommend trying their egg drop soup--it's simple yet delicious and complements the meal beautifully.Formosa Garden combines great food, excellent drinks, and reliable service, making it a spot I return to again and again.

Recommend: This used to be the go to place for my co-workers several years ago and it wasn't my fav place to eat. I went back recently because a friend asked to met there and the place is just as I remembered it and why I don't come back. Ambiance: The place is very dark, old looking, seems like the carpets have been there for ever. Honestly feels a little depressing. Service: The service was good. Waitress was fast and attentive. Food: I ordered the sesame chicken, it was like warm, too sweet, and drowning in sauce. I couldn't eat it. The rice was a little "tough" and had no flavor. *I didn't get a chance to take pictures.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy. My husband ordered Chicken w Black Bean and I ordered Triple Delight I will rename to Triple Disgust. The shrimp was rubbery and fishy and as far as the beef-are we sure that's beef it was some weird form of mush meat the chicken passable, the broccoli was not cooked and the sauce was globby. On the rice someone they accomplished a combination of lumpy and uncooked?Husbands was the same

Came in on a Saturday night and was sat immediately. This place has a pretty big dining room area, they also have hibachi tables in the back but they are separated by glass for their own room. Our server was friendly & very attentive. We got sushi & the Mongolian beef, sorry no pictures phone ate last this time haha, we were starving. One cool thing to note that I did see, they have a sign on their front doors that state they do not use msg in any of their cooking. So for anyone that needs that, this place is for you!

We eat here for lunch probably every other week and have always had consistent and good service. They are quick to seat and quick to serve. The food is always good and very consistent. They have a teppan area, but we have not tried that yet. Their sushi bar is good as well. It is a "typical" Chinese restaurant with the fish tank and darker ambiance, but it is clean and well maintained. The parking lot is in dire need of resurfacing and restriping

This was our first time visiting this place. Honestly, I have always heard so many great things about it but I wasn't impressed tonight. The fried rice that came with the entrees was extremely plain and had no flavor. The chicken was soggy. We ordered cheese puffs and those just tasted weird. We had a taste of the shrimp toast and it was either oil or butter but either way, it was soaked entirely in it. The waiter was very nice and accommodated our party of 14 with ease. Major props to him for not missing a beat! The place itself was quiet and nice looking. A tad on the stuffy side and they were playing the Olympics on tv. I do wish the seating was a tiny bit more spaced out as the kids had trouble with very little elbow room to eat comfortably. But other than that our dining experience was good. I don't think we as a family will be returning in general unless invited again.

Delicious Chinese food for such a good price! This restaurant had such a fun vibe and was filled with a whole bunch of Chinese motifs and decor. With the stone statues, red paper lanterns, and Hanzi mixed in with neon lighting and massive fish tank, there's quite a bit to catch your eye while you're there. Our server was excellent in every way, was very attentive to us and the other tables that she was taking care of, and so was sweet during our visit. The food was insanely good and every dish we ordered was so unexpectedly large, leaving us with an ample amount of just as delicious leftovers to take home with us.We started off with the Pork BBQ Buns appetizer and they were steamed so deliciously well. The bun itself was soft and melted in my mouth, and the bbq flavor wasn't overbearing but gave just the right amount of tangy sweetness to the pulled pork. Shortly after we'd finished the Buns, our meal was brought out to us, and there were serving spoons with both dishes so we could try a little bit of both. The chicken in the Teriyaki Chicken super tender and fell apart in my mouth, the sweetness of the teriyaki balanced out by the slight bitterness of the crunchy snow peas. The Steamed White Rice we ordered with it was also super fluffy and tasted great with the leftover teriyaki sauce. The noodles in the Pad Thai were also exceptionally light but held the sauce excellently for a mouthful of flavor with each bite. Lemon wedges were served with it to add some extra zest if wanted, but they ended up being unused because we thought the dish was delicious without them. The chicken was tender in this one as well and the shrimp were satisfyingly plump and juicy. There was also enough egg in the noodles to be considered a third main form of protein in this dish, and they were so fluffy and tasted SO good with the sauce. The peanuts topping the noodles were also cooked perfectly and gave a satisfying, but not too crunchy, crunch along with the sautéed veggies.I'm absolutely looking forward to my next visit and can't wait to try their hibachi menu as well. Just make sure you have a reservation for the hibachi grill as it is by reservation only. I'd definitely recommend giving Formosa Garden a visit so you can experience a delicious meal too!
