First Watch

Came in on a holiday Monday and only had to wait 5 minutes for 920 am for party of two. Got my go-to pesto chicken quinoa (I do think compared to a year ago, the serving portion has gone down) but totally understand, because the flavor is still there! Love the blend of tomatoes, pesto, kale and chicken! The kids meal is the one my son always enjoys, he gets this huge chocolate chip pancake (which the table can share).This location in particular has multiple servers that check in and everyone seems to work hand in hand! Overall great experience!Dont forget to check in online ahead of time so you dont have to wait too long!

Unfortunately my food was cold and my seasoned potatoes were burnt. I tried to convince myself they weren't, but they were.What ru thoughts??? Are they Burnt or fried potatoes??

I wish I could give a great review of their food, but we didn't make it that far. We arrived and were told the wait was 40 minutes, so we stood in their foyer as they have no waiting room and it was cold outside. After 10 minutes of waiting, from where I stood, I could count at least 12 open and cleaned tables and about 25 people waiting. I also watched what appeared to be the manager spent 5 minutes talking to 4 staff members while standing near the foyer. Why weren't they seating people? Who knows? I couldn't justify waiting while watching that kind of mismanagement. Hopefully, I will find time on a weekday to try again. Then again, I might just give my $50 gift card to someone I don't like very much! LOL!For what it's worth, we walked next door and had a nice Mexican food breakfast and were on our way home when we got the text that our table was ready at First Watch. Hope you have better luck than we had.

Service & food is always consistent here. Had lunch vibes today for me with a half sandwich and salad. My salad was exceptionally good and I added boiled eggs to it. It wasn't busy at all and it's probably the first time I didn't have to wait. It was quiet, and peaceful vibes. Loved it.

We checked in online and only had to wait about 5 minutes before they seated us. They have a holiday menu so I ordered the caramel chip pancakes with eggs and bacon. It was so tasty and came out quickly. They also had fresh squeezed juices which looked delicious. My husband ordered the chikichanga with potatoes and said it was full of flavor. Service was very friendly and attentive as well. I can't wait to come back and try other seasonal menus they have.

My brother and I thoroughly enjoyed this place for breakfast. We ended up going here after my daughter's Air Force graduation.We were seated immediately after coming in and our waitress was amazing. She walked us through the menu and offered different options based on our dietary needs.This establishment is nestled in a strip of other stores and such! It was very clean and comforting. The bathrooms were very clean as well.If you are ever in the San Antonio area, First Watch is a must try!

My girlfriend & I usually come to eat at this location - it's always great. This visit, we stopped by & got seated as usual. Our server (Laraib was the name listed on our receipt) didn't bother to introduce herself & immediately just brought coffee we hadn't asked or wanted. My girlfriend had asked for some water - never received it. Since we were already getting charged for coffee, I poured some of course but there wasn't enough creamer for the both of us so we asked for some more. I saw her just chit chatting with another server instead of bringing them so we got it ourselves from another empty table. I got the avocado toast - always great food no doubt - with a side of lemons (plural, more than 1) & it just came with 1. We politely asked for more & still nothing so we asked a different server & all of sudden, our original server came back with lemons after she told her again. After all of that, she came back with the creamers at the end of our meal when we weren't drinking coffee anymore. We work in the food industry so we understand how busy it can get & how easy it is to forget things but everything kept getting worse instead of better. I still love this location & will continue to come back because this is one experience but there's definitely room for improvement for this particular server.

The food is always fresh and on the healthier side no matter what you order. Forget feeling guilty after a full belly for breakfast. This place is always tasty and the best part is they allow you to check in via app so you don't have to wait for a crazy amount of time. The servers are always hustling and making sure you have everything you need. It's always clean inside and never a bad experience going. The restrooms are always well kept as well. Enjoy your food! I love going with my favorite broke bestie aka my son!

Great time here as always, waiters/waitresses here are always attentive! Food is always spot on, would recommend the million dollar bacon always!

Excellent. So much to chose from, breakfast to sides to lunch to alcoholic beverages to juices. The staff was very friendly, the service was fast and was def tasty. Pricing was just right. My only concern is, checking in online VS there doesn't seem to push you to the front any faster than when you check in there as it appears, which is a shame. Over all i will be back.
