Fidelos Mexican Restaurant

Stopped this morning on my way home from an appetizer at the hospital. Called in my order for 1 country sausage and egg taco & 1 carne guidance w/ cheese taco. The country sausage is very flavorful and plentiful as are the eggs. The carne guisada was sooo tender, and the gravy with melted cheese literally held it together...one of the best carne guisada tacos I've ever had. The tortillas may be the stroke of genius though. They are large, not enormous. When warm the fluffiness is perfect

Excellent service at 6 am. I had the huevos rancheros with carne guisada, not the best carne guisada- Maria's Cafe, and Garcias are a little better. Tender, flavorful carne , a delicious ranchero sauce and the tortillas are awesome.

I drove by this place for three years and never stopped because it has a very small bumpy rocky parking lot. Once day I chose to go in and it was the best decision ever. Now I visit every chance I get. Great food and excellent flour tortillas.

A hole in the wall that is definitely worth the stop. Service is great. The puffy tacos are a perfect blend of crisp and soft, without being soggy. The chicken has a great flavor.

When you spend your childhood in S. Texas, then move to spend your formative years in Austin, the search for the best tacos begins. Can't say I ever found them in Austin, but I do wonder why I didn't move to San Antonio sooner. These tortillas are top tier; they seriously don't get any better than this. Seriously. The tacos are huge and packed with goodness. I'm always apprehensive to order tacos with eggs because it triggers me to get over cooked scrambled eggs. So I went with a bean and cheese and a potato and chorizo. Both were super tasty, but the chorizo and potato was a little under seasoned. Now, barely pictured is the chilaquiles taco. I had one bite and died and went to heaven. That answers the question about ordering egg tacos here. Next time, that's what I'm getting. I sampled the chicharrones which were also pretty epic.I'm a sucker for diner coffee. Somehow they usually seem to be delicious and underrated and so simple. This one did not disappoint. It was a great cup of coffee.10/10!

Very tasty food, don't let the dirt parking lot fool you.. place is always full. Weekends is a challenge getting in, but worth the wait. My go to place!

This is our Sunday morning breakfast most weekends. Our regular waitress, Indy knows our order and most importantly that my husband does not want cilantro on his food. All the servers work well together and the owner is often around for support as well. Friendly staff and great food. The menudo is my favorite of any of our visited restaurants. They have fluffy tortillas. I never can leave them behind!We also order takeout and enjoy the food at home. We really love this little place.

Food is always AWESOME. Great tortillas. Great beans. Good salsa. welcoming environment! Every time I'm in San Antonio, NO DOUBT Fidelo's is where i'm going for my breakfast tacos.

It was good just didn't have fountain drinks and you seat yourself if not you just stand there looking dumb
