The good: Their poblano pepper burger is one of the best. Great taste and good size. The bad: The price is $13.75. Not so great. Delicious, yes, but not sure it's worth the price.Good: Their ice cream sundae is great and big enough to share. The price...all of $4.00! No complaints here. Good: service is friendly and efficient. Place is decorated in a fun way, but is a bit aged.Bad: The wait. When they are crowded, they are crowded because it the only EZ left in town.Yes, worth it, for a visit, but prices for a burger joint are a bit higher and it can be a while before getting food. We waited close to 20 mins. for an ice cream sundae!

Let me start of by saying my family and I haven't been to EZs in years! We decided to stop by for dinner. We went in and employees were welcoming, restaurant was clean. Our food wasn't what we remembered. The focaccia bread was delicious but all our other dishes were a miss. My daughter ordered a cheeseburger and it was way too burned, I ordered the Rasta pasta and that had no flavor.

I always thought EZ's was a kids hangout - no way! EZ's offers a wide variety of foods. You order and pickup at the counter. I was there with my book club: So I got to see and taste a wide variety of delectable food. Mine was a tender and juicy chicken breast with poblano pepper sandwich with yummy sweet potato fries. The tortiilla soup was also a big hit. Onion rings were light and crispy and appeared to be hand-battered. Several gals had salads; each one looked fresh and delish. The chicken dinner had 3 big pieces of baked chicken, plus veggies, potatoes, and a piece of pita bread: WOW! Cashiers were friendly and helpful. The on-duty manager checked on our group to see if the temperature of the room was ok and if the music was too loud. Completely unexpected and Very Appreciated! The restaurant and it's bathrooms were clean. Food was quick - even for a dozen people. I'll be back with the family. Bonus: three different dining areas, so you can have an actual conversation! Sorry no photos.

Our golfing group visited after a round at Silverhorn Golf Course yesterday, looking for an eatery with a varied menu...nothing fancy, but rather basic and satisfying. We scored a hit with EZ's. This restaurant enjoys a decades long reputation of good offerings, the restaurant San Antonio born. There had been 3 locations, but the De Zavala road location closed a couple of years ago. EZ's has a distinctive architectural appearance, easily recognized from its somewhat retro diner appearance. The hallmark of the restaurant is its in- house dressings, breads, sauces, for its grilling and for its brick oven pizzas. The milk shakes are literally to die for! Entering, one orders from the walk up counter, and patrons are called when entrees are ready. There are no waitstaff to service tables. Our group ordered four different entrees: grilled chicken sandwich, clasic mushroom burger, grilled trout and alfredo pasta with chicken. The concensus: delicious offerings, but the alfredo chicken was a bit stingy with the grilled chicken. We enjoyed our lunch, and imagined that this would be a very family friendly type of restaurant, its menu built to satisfy any appetite and preference. Definitely would return for a satisfying lunch! Enjoy Yelpers!!

Got the veggie bean burger. It was good. However not a handicapped friendly establishment. Very few handicap parking spaces. And if you have to park elsewhere no way to gain entrance without stairs. Then only large area for a group AGAIN a flight of stairs. No idea how this is legal.

Got a to go order of plain hotdog and chicken strips. No sides. Was told it would be 20 minutes. So I waited. At 30 minutes I still hadn't received food. So I inquired, the person told me my ticket was next. I watched them push out 8 orders for there and 1 to go order after I was told mine was next. Will not be returning. Awful customer service.

This place is so nostalgic for my Husband and I! It had been a few years since I'd been back, maybe over a decade since my Husband had been, and boy let me tell you it was everything we remembered it to be! One of the things I love about EZ's menu is how large it is - there are a variety of items to choose from that everyone will enjoy. We started with the cheese fries (for old time's sake) that came out hot and fresh, and for entrees we ordered the Basil Chicken Pasta and the Veggie Bean Burger. I know it sounds odd to order pasta from a notorious burger and pizza place, but I promise you it is worth the try, it even comes with sliced focaccia bread on the side - I have been ordering this plate for as long as I can remember! The Veggie Bean Burger came stuffed with black beans, Fritos and salsa, like a Frito pie on a burger! Both plates were so delicious and great sized portions!

The chocolate/ banana milkshake was awesome. Now let's talk about how she made it. My order was taken by a young blonde girl. Very nice and sweet and respectful. She said someone would get my order right out. She then went out and started cleaning tables. After about 10 minutes or so. I stood up. She noticed and went to get my shake started. Here it gets good. I did not see her remove or change gloves, I could be wrong. She then grabbed the cherry, with same gloves and added to top of my milkshake. I was craving it so I still drank it. My apologies if I'm mistaken. Her customer service skills were awesome. I will be back for another milkshake
