Evelyn's Mexican Restaurant

This is exactly the Mexican restaurants that my wife and I love!!! Not a chain. As the folks here say, real Mexicans making real Mexican food. The atmosphere is exactly right. Not dressed up unnecessarily. Playing music from Mexico in the background. Having some awesome street tacos It's a family business proving great service and great food.

Waitress was extremely friendly. Gave us delicious chips and salsa. Got cheese enchilada meal was great. Only thing we were disappointed in was with our tortillas, you could tell they were reheated and not real fresh. But could have been cause we came around 1:30 on a Saturday. Would come back.

The location has had so many different tenants I wrote this location off. So no one was more surprised that I was to find the new tenants kicking out some tasty Mexican. Let's call it what it is, a greasy spoon establishment. The staff is nice and family run. The food comes out hot and tasty. Worth a stop!

the food is good for the most part, but tortillas aren't always fresh. But when you get tacos, they only give 1 salsa per two tacos. WHAT? as Mexicans we love our salsa, and need more than half a little cup per taco. so then it's 25 cents per cup. for that reason, we won't go back. you should feel bad for losing customer over salsas. I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!

My wife and I have been coming in ever since it opened and have had nothing but incredible food, and amazing service from their great staff. The owner is always so sweet and on top of everything. She will even regularly check to ensure everything tastes great. It's been so wonderful to see this place grow and our neighborhood coming out to support it. If you want some of the best Mexican food in town (with a lot of different options), for an unbelievable price as well, give this lovely little place a shot! PS: a breakfast taco lover's destination

At 1130am there was food, and dirty utensils all over the floor and tables were disgusting. Also beware they charge a tea for breakfast after 11.
