We went and had Menudo and it was decent for this side of town. It's hard to find a good flavorful bowl of Menudo in the Universal City area. The very small quaint restaurant pretty packed but service was quick.

Went there with son and his girlfriend right before Christmas. I got my usual (the Lupito Plate). The kids got some breakfast tacos. Nice portion, all delicious, great service, and at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend

Two things that you rarely see anymore are found in this place: quality food, and an affordable price. I had an AMAZING pork chop lunch plate for under $10. The refried beans were great, the rice was soft and flavorful, and the porchops were thin but well seasoned. I had this with a nice coffee. The carne asada plate was amazing as well, and the green sauce made it a spicy piece of heaven. I recommend you give this place a try.

We love El Toro! There is not a better breakfast taco in town. (We know because we have tried others.) The staff is so personable and make sure you have drink refills before having to ask. They make a point to get to know you and it is like going "home" when you come in and they greet you. Love this place.

Thisnn be place is great. I've been going to this place for years. Even when I have my own family I brought them here and they love it. The food is always great it has never failed me and my family. It's a local family owned texmex restaurant and we count imus to come even when we live a little further away. The service is great the staff are amazing and friendly. The ambiance is great to sit and enjoy your meal.

Yep.. THIS is the little taco joint you'll crave! Heck, this has been my taco spot since my mom has been taking us to since I was 15 and it's still THE taco joint to go too.. ( while living out of town, I'd drool just thinking about their picadillo !) fresh flour torts.. spicy green salsa... green chicken enchiladas and rice is sooo fluffy you'll melt! yuummm.. #eltorotacosarelife!

This place would be a 5 star if it was cleaner. Meaning, it's time to remove those piñatas that are full of grease and dust. And the window seals that always have food on them. It's probably the little kids putting their little hands on their but maybe clean them when you clean the tables. I don't like that the owner just stares but doesn't help the waitresses. The waitresses are amazing, very attentive to your needs even though they are super busy. I think the owners kids work the register, they need to work on their customer service. They don't smile or great you, they just take your money and that's it.

I typically Love this Place... Im hoping that the last couple of times Ive been there the hash browns are barely a portion.. Maybe a new cook? I dont know but I will try again
