Nestled in a corner of a strip mall in Stone Oak, this taqueria has a quaint feel to it. With plenty of sitting room, the music engulfs the listening ear. When here, you can count on a fresh salsa bar. The drink station offers a variety of fresh juices, along with the standard Coca-Cola drink machine. Today, my choice is Pozole. It was delivered fresh by the courteous staff. The pozole was accompanied by 2 crisp tortillas and fresh iceberg lettuce. It was just what I was looking for today.

First time trying this place and I was not disappointed at all! I ordered through Uber Eats. They did accidentally give me a taco I did not order, but it did not go to waste lol.All the tacos were fantastic. I really enjoyed the speciality Chilaquiles taco, I would get it again!! Next was the bean and cheese, can never go wrong with that. The chorizo and egg was good, not great but I would still eat again.

Came here for a quick lunch and the food was amazing. Their chips are top notch and we had the street tacos (a couple different plates of them) they were all delicious. The service was super fast and this is going into our quick date book for great food.

We enjoy this little place quite a bit! They are always polite, friendly, and the food is great. It's our go-to breakfast taco spot for sure, and it is a few minutes longer of a drive than other places. We have occasionally ordered delivery as well and it's been quick. Eating in the restaurant is great as well-- clean and bright and well kept. They recently updated their seating, and you can just tell they have a lot of pride in their work. I only wish they were open for longer hours. :)

Wow! In a BAD way. Had chorizo and egg with frijoles tacos . They where unacceptable. This did not taste authentic at all. The worst part is that I paid ten dollars for it. Don't believe the reviews. Staff was polite , food is not good.

Wow, another disappointment. What is with the Mexican restaurants in this city, y'all all decided to go downhill together?These were some of the most sorry bean and cheese I have had IN A WHILE. Y'all packed it to the brim with HALF MASHED HALF FULL BEAN BLAND BEANS and cheese. Do you know how off putting and disgusting that is? Flavorless beans? That's a Mexican food sin. I am extremely disappointed in you Taco Stone Oak. Y'all were my go to. I TRUSTED you. Just like I trusted Panchitos in Alamo heights (but they f*cked me over too, which started this train of disappointment I guess we are all riding in), and you ruined my trust.Unlike most San antonians, I am health conscience and don't eat fattening foods during the week, only on weekends. So that means, if you F*CK up my food one time, you ruined a cheat meal and REALLY messed with my day. I came here for some hot, good food. That's what I PAY for. And you give me this lukewarm garbage. I am pissed off and I will NOT be returning. I expect SO much more from you people since this is a stone oak establishment. I will be forced to find a NEW go to bean and cheese and breakfast taco place now because of this BS. So thanks for your bland half mashed beans. They were HORRIBLE!-Z
