I never complain about a check, but when the food didn't taste good and it's expensive I will speak up.Expensive for NO REASON. I spent over $12 for 3 tacos and a drink. The tacos literally had no flavor. I tried to season them myself with salt and pepper. The tacos were still no good. Customer service is poor. This place is the only taqueria on a busy street, I would expect more effort; but what I see is a restaurant that is only there to take money from peoples pockets with no care.

This place is close to home & came highly recommended. I found the Salsa to have good flavor . My enchiladas verde was not even covered half way with sauce . They were extremely dry as well . Refried beans were a-little greasy but had ok flavor . I think for $9.00 my enchiladas should have been completely drenched in verde sauce but they weren't .The young lady was mopping right next to our table with a really strong chemical . It was over baring . We almost got up & walk out . I ended up getting my food to go . Homemade corn tortillas were good . Maybe place an order for a dozen to go & thats it .

I've become a more of a stickler to just throwing 5 stars out, this small family restaurant impressed me. Tex-mex and "mexican" is a dime a dozen here in San Antonio, a few places however, stand out among the rest. EL RINCON is definitely one of those places. Arrive before 11am to take advantage of their 3.89 breakfast special. Potatoes, beans huevos rancheros and a strip of bacon. I added a side of guisada, A+ for 2.80Service was top notch and food was absolutely delish. Mind the $5.00 credit minimum.

This has become my favorite go to for breakfast. The owner and staff are very friendly, the food is very good and the prices are reasonable. The owner goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. I've been going there for a few months now and today I was treated extra special. I was presented with a homemade cake as an early birthday token and I was quite touched. I highly recommend this place as they go above and beyond!!!

One star at best! First and last time I come here. Took 35 min to get two tacos from the drive thru. Why have a drive thru if you're not going to have a speaker to take orders in advance?? So then I get down and go in, and I see a table right next to the register. (you can tell it's for family Bc they had hot fresh food) IF THIS PLACE LOVED GOOD SERVICE AS MUCH AS THEY LOVE THE DALLAS COWBOYS THEY WOULD BE IN GOOD SHAPE. Smh

Maria's has the best Mexican food in San Antonio. Maria and her staff are so friendly and we enjoy visiting with them as much as we enjoy the food.

This place is 'ok'. Food isn't bad... BUT the owner (Mexican lady that guards the cash register and wears the heavy foundation make-up) is just flat out rude... I'm not sure what brings her attitude but she has no room what-so-ever to even have an attitude...Expressed to her about my dissatisfaction with a taco we had ordered... Her response was "Well you ordered it, so you pay for it".... I'm not sure where she gets her customer relations from, but it sucks. Has no understanding about customer service BUT I fact just there to ring you up & take your money... Very rude.

The biggest and best tasting breakfast tacos .... sooo good and authentic! It's located on a back road and small but the food is delicious

What kind of restaurant isn't open every day of the week? Food is overpriced but good. However it isn't the best. $9+ for a plate. And you might leave a little hungry.

Great service and great food! 3 tacos for $3.99 what an amazing deal and man there horchata, one of the best i've had!
