I decided to get takeout and I was disappointed. The food is pretty bland and they barely gave me any salsa. I didn't get any limes, onion, or cilantro for my mini tacos which made the tacos flavorless.The queso con picadillo was gross and had a weird taste to it.

If you want to take food home, bring your on containers. As soon as they handed me my To Go encoladas verde & Texas plate I knew the packaging was too weak, and could see green sauce seeping out of the styrofoam container into the bag. Even after unstacking the 2 containers, reach was too flimsy. At home I noticed the compartment with the rice looked like the styrofoam was burned, and even had holes. Surprising sine I ordered at the counter & waited for my food. No chips or salsa given with the order.

My girlfriend ordered some mole enchiladas take out , ate it 20 minutes later when we were eating and one of the last bites I found was a FULL on bandaid in my mouthWe called and told us " well what do you want from us " excuse me bro ! It's not about the money it's the principle and how did this happen ? NO ONE EVEN SAID SORRY !! The manager was careless ! Place took it like a joke and he was laughing and smirking the whole time ! Just plain bad food. I got a steak covered in salsa. The meat came paper this and super tuff!! I showed the server she told me I should have said something before I ate it the truth was that was what was left after one bite. The manager told me that they are not a steak house and I shouldn't have ordered it. I was like what? Seriously?? He told me I didn't have to come back. I was as polite at I could be and he will get his wishes I will not be back. It's worth the drive to just go into San Antonio if you want even 1/2 way better Mexican food this is not the place for that.

Been here a couple of times: once for dine-in lunch and one for takeout dinner. This place is all about the food. It is served piping hot, fresh, and is very flavorful. The refried and Charro beans are excellent. The al pastor meat is juicy and delicious. The chile relleno with beef or chicken is very good. The weak point is the Spanish rice. This is a casual place so ambience takes a back seat. Service is good. You can order online which makes things very easy for takeout. orders.

Amazing service and amazing food! We had a party of 18 people for an adult birthday and they had the tables pushed together and reserved, the waiter was exceptional with information about the food and very patient. They took such good care of our party we were impressed! They even played a happy birthday video/song on the TVs. Could not have been a better time! Definitely worth a stop by any time of day!
