El Mirasol

Whenever you walk in it's super cute and the workers were welcoming. They give you chips and salsa to start at the table. The chips were hot and good however the salsa kinda tasted like bbq. Wasn't bad but was sweet. Didn't hate it but unexpected. Appetizer Ordered: *Shrimp Campesinos 10/10 loved it. Presentation was pleasant and it tasted super fresh. *Queso Mirasol9/10 it was super tasty however the cheese came kinda room temp so was clumpy Entree Ordered: *Parrillada including fajita skirt 10/10 Hot and fresh the beef was the best part. Highly recommend. It came with some flour tortillas, rice, borracho beans, pico, and guac. Overall, loved the place will definitely be recommending to anyone. The waiter came and checked on us and kept our drinks full. He also recommended the dishes we chose which turned out to be very tasty.

Pretty good food with some non traditional options. Parking lot isn't the biggest and can get pretty busy, but I've never had much of a problem when I visit. The salsa and queso are basic, but good. Nothing too special there. The shrimp quesadillas are soo good. Probably some of the best I've had. The crab taquitos are pretty tasty too. Margaritas are good and actually taste like something. Every time I've come, the bartenders are nice and attentive. The area can get a bit busy because of the construction on 1604, but it's a good place to visit for a good meal.

We came to try the Chispa but there is so much more to enjoy. Our group was big 16 of us which for them was no problem. We were sat quickly and the staff got everything flowing from drink and food orders, to ice waters, of course chips and all their delicious salsas. Our food came out quickly which is a surprise for any big group. It was so good I forgot to take pictures or was it the chispa and Mexican candy shots that was the cause?Their spinach salad was a delicious surprise although there was too much dressing. I would definitely suggest asking for lightly dressed. Chicken tortilla soup is like nothing I have had before. It comes with toppings on the side to add yourself chicharron, queso fresco and avocado. Get the soupand the Carnitas taquitos with the adobo sauce. The pork was tender and juicy.We ended our meal with their delicious churros. So if you have room order them But they are hot so bite carefully and enjoy the deliciousness.The staff were very friendly and attentive through out our meal.

I have been wanting to try El Mirasol for their amazing drinks and was always so intrigued at how busy they were but I was so underwhelmed by the food. Yes the drinks were delicious and delicious and strong, however, the rest of my experience did not amaze me. The service was slow, I understand the restaurant was busy but our waiter completely forgot about us. Many times we had to ask other staff members to get him. Then the fajitas were not good, I made the mistake of getting the chicken, steak and shrimp fajitas. The taste and smell of seafood really took over the whole entire skillet. I was not a fan and have never had that happen when ordering a fixed fajita at other places.

I had a good customer service experience hence the high rating. Fast and efficient. Quick background I am first gen Mexican so this food is not authentic. Im not mad about it sometimes i crave the tex mex and love it. The ceviche was okay. The fish is fresh but it had mayo on it and it didnt really taste like a ceviche more like an elevated tuna can recipe. I recommend if i could for them to make a more traditional ceviche. However the rest was great, drinks are a bang for your buck for a place like this (nice restaurant) and the service was quick and prompt. Its very nice inside clean and orderly.

Arrived on a Friday night at about 7:30 and waited 30 mins for a table. The table was clean and we were greeted promptly. Service was attentive. The restaurant was very packed and loud. I enjoyed my vegetable enchiladas packed with veggies and the cilantro rice was quite good. The alcoholic drinks were too strong and not enjoyable to drink. The chips were average but the green and creamy chipotle sauces were delicious!

We have a strong preference for the Alon location; however, the interior of this establishment is notably distinct and attractive. I gave their beef enchiladas, which were quite enjoyable. We also shared a refreshing Chispa. The service was satisfactory, though the noise level was high, which was manageable. We decided to shorten our visit.

The food, drinks and ambience was pleasant as usual. The food never disappoints and if you're looking for a great strong and delicious drinks then try their Chispas. It's what they are known for.

I met my "future son in law" for an early lunch here. He picked it due to location. It turned out to be a great location with ample parking.I was early, but the host offered to seat me anywhere. I picked a location that could see the entrance. Almost immediately a young lady came by with menus and offered to get my drink order. She brought that quickly, along with chips and salsa.After he showed up, we placed our orders. I got the beef fajita enchiladas that came with rice and beans.Our orders came quickly and were piping hot. Everything was as ordered and was tasty. The help, including the manager, kept coming by to check on us and to make sure everything was fine. I have to say that the service was excellent.We stayed quite a while and chips and drink refills were always there before we needed them. Did I say service was excellent?Will I return? Definitely.

Met friends here for dinner tonight that we had not seen in a long time. Was looking forward to eating here because I have eaten at the Alon location several times and he has always been good..To be honest, was a little bit disappointed. Parking here is terrible and it was packed! My wife got her food, but it was not very good. She got chicken enchiladas and the chicken was very dry so she sent it back and ended up getting what I had was the ribeye taquitos, which were pretty good, though the steak was just a little bit overcooked for ribeye.All in all that bad, but could have been better.
