OMG! Birthday dinner for my husband...appetizer: crab taquitos w/chipotle sauce, dinner: lobster enchiladas w/plantains & white rice, a plate called "a little bit of everything": carne asada taco, chicken taco, cheese enchilada, quesadilla, borracho beans, rice, guacamole, & we topped it off with churros. Birthday boy even got a free order of churros with a birthday candle!#ElMirazolDinner was amazing! Service was excellent! Ambience is family friendly.Highly recommend this dining experience

Stopped by after work for a few margaritas and a quick bite. Came to el mirasol because of their infamous chispas! I ordered their seltzer chispa which was alright, plain. I wasn't offered to add any flavors but on my second round I got a strawberry chispa which was great. Super yummy!We shared an order of guacamole and chicken quesadillas which were good. Chips and salsa were complimentary. Prices are definitely a bit on the high side. The restaurant was busy on a Friday afternoon so make your way over as soon as you can. Would definitely return. Good vibes, nice people.

Kudos for accommodating an extra large group of hungry hikers for breakfast : DOur hiking group moderator reserved ahead of time a couple of tables and they were ready for us. Complimentary chips and a mild salsa were table side. I went ahead and asked for some additional spicy salsas- a habanero and a green. Def both better than the mild! I poured most of it over my breakfast tacos lolWe ordered some barbacoa breakfast tacos, a pork taco, and a chorizo and egg taco. The barbacoa tacos stood out and I appreciated seeing a thick slice of avocados on them. I'm glad we checked our bill as we were overcharged by almost two bucks on one of our tacos! I'm sure it was a mistake, and thankfully we were able to get it fixed. Breakfast tacos were good, a little pricey though....

If you're looking for tasty food and strong drinks, you've found the right spot. Tucked away in a back corner of the Alon shopping center, you'll find a neighborhood favorite. Our go-to order are the Fiesta Nachos; nachos topped with chicken, steak, and shrimp. It's a great sampler and doesn't leave you feeling overstuffed )the portions are generous here). They're known for their chispas; the drink is so infamous at this location that the staff have tshirts with "chispa" on them...and they are STRONG (as are most of the drinks).It took a little bit for us to get our order in, but they get your drink orders placed really quickly. Inside is pretty big, almost cavernous, so it gets a little loud, but parking is free wherever you can find a spot.

Beautiful restaurant, great waitstaff and wonderful food. Even though we arrived at 6:00 pm on a busy Saturday night, the wait was not so bad because you are able to purchase a drink and sit outside while you wait. Once seated our water Pepe was great! My table shared the queso with ground beef which was great! I ordered the Chile En Nogada and it was so goood!! You must try a Chispa while dining here . I will definitely be back.

I ordered the shrimp enchiladas with two sauces. These are generous and delicious. I love that you get chips and salsa too. As always, food was delicious!! I tried the grilled stuffed pablano pepper and it was amazing!! I love their salsa as well. The service was great and I didn't have to wait for a refill on my water ever. It was quieter when we arrived at 6 but filled up quickly by 6:30! Even so, it never felt too loud or crowded. Love the ambiance!Prices are higher than other places, but the food is delish and it's nearby so we love El Mirasol for a nice night out!
