El Mirasol

My family and I love this place for their Chispas, we've been to both locations in SA. This time we were coming back home from a day trip to Borene & decided to stop here for dinner. Normally I just order chips and chispas but this time I got Un Poquito de Todo 9/10!My dad for their seasonal Caldo de Res (unfortunately not Pictured) and he loved the flavor of the caldo! The chispas flight is 100/100. I believe this is the only location offering the Chiapas flight but I could be wrong, I would have to call and ask the other locations lolService 10/10Ambiance 10/10 Can't wait to be back & sip on more chispas and food

Muy bien and deliciouso is the way I would describe this local San Antonio Mexican delight.The food was as good as the service from German our server.I had the chicken quesadillas appetizer which was served with a small sampling of guacamole and shredded greens.Our server even brought samples of their mole sauce and green creme cilantro sauce for dipping.This location was easy to find across the highway from the newly opened Lamborghini store .They even had the Copa soccer games on three different areas over the small bar area .That was a win win for me.Thank you to a fellow Yelper for this recommendation.Our friends who dined with us said they will definitely come back due to the authentic flavors and great service.

I just left lunch with my wife at El Mirasol and had an great experience. The chips seemed freshly made, warm and offering a satisfying crunch, and the salsa had a vibrant flavor that was both refreshing and unique. The restaurant itself looked new and clean, service was impressively fast, and our waitress was pleasant and attentive but also keep in mind it was after the lunch rush at about 130pm on a random Monday.I tried the shrimp tacos, which were fantastic. The shrimp were fresh, but what really drew my attention was the shells, fried to a perfect crispy but light texture. Haven't had anything like it. The accompanying chipotle and lime sauces were impeccable, adding just the right amount of zing. Additionally, the vegetarian enchiladas featured a really good vegetable medley that tasted fresh and didn't feel too heavy. Prob best "upscale" Mexican food I've had yet in San Antonio, definitely a place to bring out of town guests.

We came here for lunch on a Sunday. It wasn't too busy when we first got here and were sat right away. The church crowd showed up while we were eating and the restaurant filled up. The restaurant is in a small strip mall with a large parking lot. We got complementary chips and salsa. The chips were good, but the salsa wasn't very spicy. My wife got ground beef enchiladas and I got shrimp tacos. We both really liked our food and it came out quickly

Food, staff and service is always top notch! Date night to just random dinner choice, everyone is happy when we order here! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Went here for lunch and dinner a few times. The food is consistently delicious. Servers are always prompt in taking your order and filling up your drinks. The open atmosphere and quantity of tables allows for larger parties of needed but also a great place for a date night.

We had lunch there today for the first time. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. We ordered the steak skirt with white sauce and veggies. We were not disappointed! We will definitely return and recommend to others.

Great food and nice atmosphere. We had calamari appetizer (pic) and then ordered tortilla soup and a Cesar salad Service was surprisingly super slow for the type of food we ordered.

We love El Mirasol, but were left disappointed as we waited 30 minutes for a table. When we should have been sat next, the hostess sat her friends who had just walked in. Sad day that we wasted time and made our daughter wait longer to eat as well.

El Mirasol is new to the Keon Springs area with other locations in San Antonio. I've been twice, once for dinner and the second time for lunch. Dinner was good, lunch not so good. The food was not as good at lunch, part of which was reflected in the staff. There were plenty of staff, but they weren't paying attention. Our lunch took awhile and when served you could tell it had been sitting in the window. The ambiance is very nice, a pretty place. Prices not too bad.
