The food, where do I start;The Menudo is Great!The Barbacoa is also Great!The Tortillas, Corn and Flour, Wow! I used to buy from HEB, not anymore.The Tortilla Chips and Chicharrones are out of the World.Their Service is Outstanding!I can go on and on. This is my New Place to eat.

Recommend: Yes. Eat the tacos de papa and get some fresh tortillas!Food: The tacos de papa (potato tacos) were so delicious and flavorful. We ended up getting two orders. Had we knows they were going to be that good, that's probably all we would have needed to order. . They were made fresh and came hot to the table. We also order tacos de carne asada. They were good and flavorful. Lastly we heard about the torta ahogada; we ordered it with carne asada. Now we know by the name that this is an ahoga (drowned) torta into a consomé, so we did expect some sogginess but in the end, we determined the texture was not for us. It had great flavor but too soggy and messy for our liking. Ambiance: The restaurant was very clean and humble, there was music playing, and it was very quiet. We went in the middle of the week at midday. Service: The service was fast and the waitress help us with any questions we had. They were very attentive.

First off let me start by saying I honestly want to give this place 4.5 SOLELY based off my personal preference. I like my food salted and seasoned, HOWEVER, I do understand places that don't do it. They leave it up to the customer to choose how much salt or seasoning they want (which the waitress kindly provided in different shakers). Now this restaurant is definitely a five star place regardless of my personal preferences! The food tastes homemade! I literally felt like I was in Mexico sitting inside looking out on the plaza in a tiny restaurant. It was very nostalgic for me. The music, the bare walls, and overall humbleness of the place. I ordered pozole verde with everything. Radish, cabbage, and lime on the side! *chefs kiss* My husband ordered the chilaquiles rojos con huevo and let me tell you...HE LEFT THAT PLATE CLEAN. Don't expect some Michelin type food here, but come here expecting some humble yummy food that feels like you're at your grandma's house. I'll definitely be back!

Place very clean. Very attentive service and tacos good the cafe de olla first time I drink coffee without milk and sugar and I found it is really good and I will drink again ambience nice. I recommend this place love the Guisada tacos.

My first time here was an excellent experience. The place was clean and well maintained. Our waitress was attentive and took care of us right away. The food was very authentic. Loved the menudo and the tortillas were very tasty. One of my companions had the "migas" with eggs and one of them the "huarache" I definitely recommend and will be back myself!

The place was clean & service was great. Waitress took our order, was accurate upon arrival. Chicharrone taco was delicious. Red tomato based salsa, really good. Menudo, I thought, needed more flavor, the limes were juicy, but I needed lemons! The barbacoa was good, hardly any grease & the torts were soft & warm. The taco was packed, had to remove some meat. Willing to go back for another shot of Menudo.

We fell upon this restaurant thanks to IG, and all I can say is WOW. I have never had Barbacoa that tastes this good. Combine the perfectly tender, delicious, savory, yet somehow light barbacoa with homemade corn tortillas and great sauces, and you have one hell of a meal.The Barbacoa was so tender. Sometimes it can be fatty and weighed down in sauce, but this? Perfection. Don't change a thing. Please. If I lived here I would be here everyday. Perfectly priced, delicious, very kind staff, homemade tortillas, simply done, and perfectly executed. What a find indeed!

Let me start saying that their fresh homemade coffee "cafe de olla" was amazing best ever had on San Antonio this place is a Tortilleria which means homemade corn and flour tortillas everyday they have a variety of Corn White-Yellow and Red tortillas the last mentioned red tortillas is common used for the enchiladas.It's a new restaurant and they still working on their menu I went for breakfast and I was a bit disappointed they didn't had pancakes which I believe it should be a must for breakfast I ordered carne guisada with cheese and the guisada sauce was tasty and the meat was soft and delicious My daughter got Barbacoa Taco and ham and egg with cheese, the barbacoa wasn't dry like many places this barbacoa was great I was surprised it was really good Friendly service and very clean restaurant the Lady helping us was very friendly and helpful They had for sale the tortillas obviously and some chips their salsa is tasty and just enough spicy to enjoy your mealsThey also have a small variety of candy for your little ones We left with our bellies full and happy we surely will come back again
