Well...it feels like all my coworkers continue to overhype and fool me. This was a little disappointing, and it kills me to say it. I've passed by soo many times and we finally came in. It's nothing fancy, just a counter and a few tables and chairs. Feels like they expect you to order pick up more than dine in. This is one of those few reviews where the negatives faaaar outnumber the positives. But the positives were so good it elevated the score. The Torta, man it was good. They got that down for sure. The pickled red onions, and the red hot sauce bring it down. Is it super horrible? Well the red hot sauce almost was, but the red onions definitely needed more kick. The red sauce has a spoiled flavor to it. My son made the mistake of putting it on most of his chicken mini tacos, and refused to eat them. STICK to the green sauce! It was great. We also ordered birria tacos. Yes, the ones with cheese. One of the most disappointing birrias I've had in town. It looked good, wanted to like it, I just couldn't. At least it wasn't over salted. It's was woefully under seasoned and it's HARD to do that with birria. Dont know how they achieved that, but dang they did. Good tortilla, good cheese. The mini tacos were just ok. The drinks on the other hand....one of the best lemonades and horchata we've had! We will come back for drinks, and maybe other tortas, but for nothing else.

I have been looking all over San Antonio for good birria tacos. I am very picky because I make birria my self. We will be back with the rest of our family. I also recommend their Jamaica agua Fresca and their ramen.

Came here for the first and what a wonderful experience!! I had never had a Torta Birria before and I will be back for more and to try other items. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. He explained exactly what it was and how to assemble since we got it to go. Establishment was clean and the food was out of this world good. Please go try it for yourself!
