El Barbaro Mexican Restaurant

This is a tiny hole in the wall restaurant that serves great food! Service was great, food was also on point. We had nachos with beef fajitas, pork chop plate, pancakes, enchiladas and barbacoa tacos, so basically a little of everything! Check them out you won't regret it!

I was here right when they opened the owner I assume was super nice he offered me coffee while I waited for my order. First time here and service is amazing very nice people. I'll be sure to come back the ambiance was also nice clean small little place don't pass it up! I would have to say this is a great little hole in the wall family owned and operated restaurant the best kind of places!

I've eaten here about 3 times already after seeing a picture of some enchiladas posted on FB's San Antonio Restaurants and decided to give it a try one night. Needless to say, I'm sold! Enchilada gravy isn't overpowered by cumin, the carne guisada is soft and creamy, and their corn tortillas are thick and soft. I've had their enchiladas and puffy taco combo (didn't get a picture, I inhaled it!) And I've had the huevos rancheros with barbacoa. Tonight I'm getting the beef fajitas with enchiladas combo and I'm pretty pumped. I recommend getting the "Ranchero sauce" with your house chips, it's got the right about of spice to it that it won't kill your tastebuds!
