Dragon Buffet

I don't understand any of the negative reviews. The wait to get in was kind of long, but it moved fairly quickly. This is a relatively new restaurant so I'd expect a longer wait than other more established businesses. Once we got through the door and checked in / paid at the register, we were directed to some chairs nearby. It didn't take long before we were escorted to our table - maybe 30 minutes for the entire wait. The cost was also shockingly affordable considering other buffets in town charge significantly higher prices. The buffet is a good size and has such a variety of options. We loaded up our plates more times than we can count and were satisfied with every last bite. The food was always fresh and hot and the lines didn't take too long to get through despite how busy it was at the time. I can't remember all the food we ate, but I know we liked the Chinese chicken, Rangoon, egg rolls, soup, crab legs, lobster Mac & cheese (though it was VERY lobster-y) and everything else we tried. The ambiance is similar to most of their buffets, in my opinion - nothing special or fancy, but definitely not a "G.C." vibe. (not that there's anything wrong with that place)We will certainly be back again

I love the food here and they keep it cleaned and always stocked. We have come here a few times since they opened and it is always full but quick service and seating. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a little loud but there are areas where it is quiet. Now price to me is reasonable for the food.

Before coming I had read an article about this place being so good and having great options, so I decided to try it out. Now I'm thinking they may have paid for that positive article. Do not waste your money here. Food was cold, flavorless and just all around bad. Fries lacked flavor, egg rolls tasted off, and the pizza was terrible. They were serving cookies from a plastic tray that you get when buying them from a store. Place was really nice though and had really elegant decor. I was not expecting much from a buffet, but i was expecting warm food at the very least. If you're looking for an unhealthy food fix, decent options, warm food, and good service go down the street to Lin's.

The food was great. Lots of options. The space was clean and had some good music playing. Our waitress however didnt check in at all after the initial intro so we kept having to waive down a different waitors for refills.

As others have mentioned, entering in here is about congested. Staff will look at each other to see who's going to bring in the next guest. The food was... not that great. Most of it was cold to warm even when sitting under the lamp. It has your usual Chinese buffet choices. Was hoping the frog legs were gonna be a wow factor but that fell flat.

The food was good the place looked clean, the service was great our waiter kept our drinks filled at all times very clean picked up our dirty dishes as soon as we finished eating.

First off this place is appealing to the eye. The selection of food is awesome and they're constantly bringing out fresh new items. Sushi was great and pretty much everything else. Very friendly service and Clara always kept my cup full. My favorite was the fried crab legs. They had a great flavor to them. Definitely recommend giving this place a try

It was good. I think it was priced well, but I haven't been to many other buffets in San Antonio. Looks really nice inside and they did a good job taking used plates away.

Kevin was our waiter he is friendly and amazing ask for him next time you dine in We celebrated my daughter's birthday and he kept our area clean plus was very attentive

Everything was delicious, there is flavor in value. the waitress was friendly and cleared empty plates quickly. We were there at 11am so everything was fresh. The restaurant was clean and the lighting was cool.
